Hi! Thank you for this video. I have a quick question. After creating a view on an editor, does one save that file? If one is trying to query the view that was just created in a subsequent query, how does one do it? Thank You!
quick question- suppose if i create a view A using more than one table (b,c,d ) but i drop one the table lets say,b in reality which is used in view, what would be impact over view then
Thank you for this question .. I just tried and it is allowing to delete the table and if we try to select from view it says 'invalid object name tablename' 'Could not use view or function viewname because of binding errors'
How come joining of 3 tables is complex without views. Could you please explain briefly. For Views also writing the same select query but how it differs ?
how to differentiate views and CTE's (one is temporary table and another one is a virtual table ) I only found syntax change ...can you share some knowledge on this topic as well
Functions can perform various operations which is it can get the user input and produces desired output , views are just select queries which saves time because we don't need to rewrite it again
Yeah..... skip this nobody uses views ever. Views were popular in 1990s early 2000s before big data came along. I haven't created a VIEW at one of the largest financial inst in the world in 10+ years.
