Viger Reacts to the entirety of "Helluva Boss Season 1" 

So much for RU-vid updating the title for me. Should be correct now.

I just can't get over how absolutely terrifying Stolas' entrance in "Truth Seekers" is. He possesses Number Two, raises the dead agents, and has them draw his summoning circle around her in their own blood, all WITHOUT the Grimoire. And he's so powerful that afterwards, he opens the portal home without it and with zero effort. The whole sequence is my favorite in the show so far.

Some background info on Stolas from real life demonology: According to the Ars Goetia, a demonology from the mid-17th century, Stolas is one of the 7 Great Princes of Hell. He's said to command twenty-six legions of demons and to be a teacher of astronomy to those who summon him. He is also said to be knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. His most common depictions are a raven or a crowned owl with long legs (the Helluva Crew certainly nailed that part).

To be fair, Verosika seemed to actually like Blitz until Blitz messed with her, stole her credit card, rung up insane amount of charges and didn't reciprocate in the sheets so Verosika is just angery and Blitz self sabotaged himself. It's implied he self sabotages most of his relationships. And while these episodes were coming out a lot of people hated Stolas thinking he was just sex crazed cheater, but I never got that from him since episode 1. When he called Blitz in the first episode he was blushing and in episode 2 subtle hints were left saying he was in an unwanted/arranged marriage. Stolas is a pretty sweet guy and he acts like a teenager around Blitz, trying to impress him, do what he thinks will make Blitz like him, wishing for a more of a relationship than they have and that inexperience shows when it come to him trying to have a genuine relationship and making bad mistakes. You really feel for him in episode 2.

Wow, never thought I’d see Viger react to Helluva Boss, much less the entire first season in one episode. Well, time to watch the entire thing in one sitting!

I really liked Beelzebub character, and not only because i'm a furry, but she actually shows care for others and really wanted to be friend with Loona. Yeah, she swears every time but when things are serious she doesnt say bad words. I would like to "bee" at one of her parties

The food at Bee's party is probably safe. I harboured suspicions at first, also, but I've since concluded that the dilated pupils and such are merely symptoms of a sugar buzz. It still feels a little odd, given that Hell is a supernatural place and therefore the traditional rules of hospitality should be inverted. Persephone and Rip Van Winkle would certainly understand our caution.

The dude in chat who told you to stop worrying about the food in episode 8 is forgetting the *crucial fact* that this is you're first time seeing this. We all or at least most of us were initially suspicious of Bee the first time, too. I know I was. Those Mean Girl hellhounds were right though. That wasn't fetch. "I'm not gonna go get it unless you throw it." lol

Looking back, you really see deeper meanings in the simple things people say and do, and even the music in certain scenes remind you of future moments (I'm specifically thinking about the background music in the family episode when Stolas calls Blitzo) Edit: the background music for Stolas and Octavia's moment in Loo Loo Land also had that motif Edit 2: AND the background music in the Truth Seekers episode when Stolas is possessing Agent 2 also has the motif

Well.. I wasn't expecting you to react to this, Viger. Say what you want.. But Helluva Boss is brilliantly made. The characters & voice acting some of the best I've seen.

Glad you at least somewhat enjoyed the show so far. And yeah, fandoms have been a mixed bag of awful for some time now, I mostly keep to smaller groups of less rabid viewers. As much as the darker part of fandoms are bad, they rarely ever reflect the actual content or quality of a show.

I gotta admit, as much of a thirsty owl Stolas is, I did kinda feel sorry for him at the end of ep 7, and season 2's first couple episodes really puts things in a different light.

I absolutely adore Stolas and Blitz as Fathers because due to their stations and personalities they are ironically the best father figures in the entire series…

To be fair Asmodeus isn’t telling Moxxie to stop heck he’s telling him to keep playing but that Moxxie needs to spice things up and Asmodeus is a host so if Moxxie is killing the vibe then yeah he’s gotta go Asmodeus is also a king so if he wanted to he could have killed them and no one would care but instead he just kicked them out maybe a bit aggressively but Millie did hit his partner in the head with a guitar

Bee is this show‘s version of Beelzebub meaning she is one of the Seven Deadly Sins like Asmodeus. In the real world demonology, Beelzebub is a male who, when not seen as just another version of Satan, is often depicted as a mix between a giant fly and a bee or wasp due to his nickname being "Lord of the Flies". He is often seen as Lucifer's loyal second-in-command and the one to manage Hell's day-to-day affairs. To this end, he founded the Order of the Fly, a group of high-ranking demons handpicked by Beelzebub due to their unquestionable loyalty towards him and Lucifer which both help him run Hell as well as to keep an eye on the less trustworthy high-ranking demons (aka any non-member). Lastly, while Bee represents Gluttony in the show, the Beelzebub of real life demonology has sometimes been given Envy and Pride as Deadly Sins to represent, as well.

the why the protagonist it's so fcked up mentally will be answered in season 2 (recommend it, is actually wholesome and tragic ) also i love the theme songs they put when stolas is on scene 2:13:58 this episode is just overheated cause her emote is queen bee an she isn't a bee, but like i said it just an emote and she has that emote cause of her honey body parts (torso,tail,hair,etc)

The fact that my opinions on the characters are the complete opposite to Viger. I immediately loved Stolas and even have made a plushie of him early on in the season. I don't rlly Like Moxxie, he's ok but definitely not my favourite. The songs Ozzie and Verosika sang made complete sense to who they are and I fully believe Blitz was a selfish jerk to her, I relate to the song sm, my fav one for season 1. I also loved Queen Bee and actually assumed she was gonna be my fav bad guy but she turned out to be good. I think we both love Blitzo tho

i love it how these episodes were fun and not really lore heavy when we first saw them and then we realised these are some awesome forshadowings and really tragic episodes instead... still had some laughs but knowing what happened in season two, these episodes aren't THAT funny anymore, i wanna cry watching them :(
