If you think about it, @slientmajority8365, the people you named (Al Sharpton, BLM, Ben Crump) get involved when law enforcement and media fail to function properly--when they ignore cases. In Carlee's case, law enforcement AND media seem to be functioning properly--to be treating her as if she matters--so the folks you named can focus on those who are getting no attention.
