I love that Vigilante wasn't originally recruited for the team, but he sort of started to hang out with them during a mission and Murn and everyone else were like "ok, you can stay".
I would love him being in the entirety of Suicide Squad 3 but then goes off mission and Waller is like blow him up but the team is like he doesn’t have a Bomb
Honestly, big props to Freddie for giving it an A+ on his acting, especially having an amazing american accent, Vigilante wouldnt be loved now without him. James Gun did an awesome job in casting
The story goes that Freddy kept his American accent up during all of filming and at the wrap party he spoke normally and John Cena nearly fell off his chair.
@@andrewli6606 that's true. The previous actor was too old to create this older-younger brother vibes between Peacemaker and Vigilante . Also Freddy was able to attract younger audience
almost everyone in Peacemaker was so likeable and amazing you can’t choose who you like more in the show. I honestly thought Vigilante was just a psychopathic but likeable poser at first but after seeing him demonstrate his skills and intelligence he has officially become one of my favorite character in Peacemaker
Same here. Lol remember when he acted like he struggled to throw the trash can? I laughed so hard at that scene. But then he baits the Aryan gang to hit him and he kicks their ass, and I'm like wut 😦. When he jumped on White Dragon to save Chris, I was like 😆🙌
@@jesset4870 I was getting that kinda vibe watching the show. I like him. He reminds me of younger annoying me that thought I was right about everything .
Well it showed him seemingly fine after pretty bad injuries (like peacemaker accidentally stabbing him and when a grenade blew up in front of him) then after that he sleeps and when he wakes up he's fine
@@joebloggs6922 There’s a likelihood Vigilante’s healing capabilities will be more prominent in season 2, as it goes for now, it is very slow, but he seems to be able to regenerate back his toe. In the hospital scene where he is recovering, if you look quick enough as he jumps out of the window, you can see his foot is fully whole... it appears his big toe has grown back.
He did have his own series of comic. He really need to get his show, about how his family died in bomb blast and how he got insane, and his training by ghosts...
James Gunn mentioned he might do a spin-off for Vigilante if season 2 of Peacemaker goes well or if he still has creative control of the character going forward.
I love how nonchalant Vigilante can be during fights (except when it involves his pinky toe). Gets stabbed accidentally by PM: "Fuck, dude..." WD attacks them, V sprays him with bullets and blows up a grenade before he can monologue. And when he stabbed WD, he was like, "there are gaps in the armor, man!" like he was just slightly annoyed. 😆 Then him casually being like "Hey, guys!" after that very near death fakeout at the end 😆 Love that they made him funny, dumb, but also a badass who genuinely cares for his BFF. Freddie Stroma absolutely killed it (with a chainsaw), not to mention his stuntman, too! 💯
Honestly it surprised me that vigilante actually knows how to fight I thought he was gonna be a gag character that they have to watch out for but I love that’s he’s a badass
I really like Vigilante in peacemaker and look forward to seeing more of this version of the character. He was probably my favorite part of the show. That said I wish we could get a vigilante that’s more comics accurate at some point. And it doesn’t have to be Adrian Chase, it could be Dorian Chase, Pat Trayce, Greg Sanders or a whole new character that takes up the mantle. Just a version that starts of trying to be a pseudo Batman but ends up a Rorschach meets punisher nightmare of self loathing and psychosis.
I hope if they do a Vigilante standalone series we get to see is descent into madness, or him realizing he's a psychopath. In the comics he starts out as your classic Batman type, he's cool, he tries his best not kill (almost always ends up with guys being killed in self defense or with the environment) , dark and brooding, and has a hotshot team to guide him. But as the series goes on and all his friends die or get hurr he basically just starts to lose it, especially after multiple people close to him take the Vigilante identity and start dying off (one of them was killed by Peacemaker mind you) he just kinda stumbles off the deep end, like there are parts when he is genuinely like a madman.
Except Deadpool funnier and alot nicer I want this and the big difference in between Deadpool and this guy's I like Deadpool guys and asshole I want dead.
Deadpool at least in the movies is just a psychopath with ADHD honestly not crazy people need to understand that when someone is insane it’s more of a legal term as opposed to medical.
When it was mentioned that he has "multiple accounts of murder" that they're gonna be some badass moments with Vij and that prison scene proved me right.
@@user-dd5ul5wo6k I mean he took a grenade to the face and walked it off in less than 5 minutes, I think he definitely has some kind of healing factor here. That being said, he probably just thinks that it’s normal.
@@user-dd5ul5wo6k after the season finale, it is solidified he does have healing capabilities. 😎👍🏼

He have healing factor in comics and even in this series, but here he have weaker healing factor, but still. He heal like 300x times faster than classic human ( In comics he is almost on Deadpool or Wolverine level where is like 1 000 000 000 faster..... + He have superhuman strengh level. He can lift up to 400 kg even with his body shape easy. He is basically fuck up Cpt. America who kill for living.
What’s this dumb obsession DC fans have with centering an entire universe around one director? Marvel doesn’t do that and look at their track record. Nor do any other franchises. And if that director creates a universe with mixed reception, then those movies are no longer completely profitable to all audiences. Just one niche. Nah, that’s a really dumb hope.
@@JBrotsis1 why don’t you just look back the snyderverse it total shjt and it ruined by WB they get rid of henry and ben affleck just because want to make the DC brighter like the marvel but no And for the gunnverse I just need him to director or the executive producer some of the movie in his universe not all of the movie for the example like zack snyder he just only make the justice league when all the character gather and for the solo movie for each characters it will be other to do it
Unexpectedly for me, I fucking liked this character in the show. I would like (I hope so) DC to do some kind of spin-off about a Vigilante. I think he's worth it.
Can you do a Makkari all Powers and Abilities from The Eternals, The Watcher from Marvel What IF…?, and can you make one about Misaka Mikoto - Toaru Majutsu no Index and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun please.
Lot of people comparing him with Deadpool, but he's way different than him. He is Quirky assassin though, and lot of his gimmicks are different from Deadpool. Whoever has a problem, Eat Peace...
So does his suit just protect from shockwaves cause that frag in ep7 damaged him a lot more than a 1/4 stick from similar distance. Only diff between the explosives is the fragment shell on the grenade
@@whyamiherequestionmark1 he might, he was pretty messed up after the frag but a few scenes later after being thrown by WD he had cuts in his suit but no blood. Tho I also was wondering if that's just makeup fail
@@batman27385 not a makeup fail, the show does somewhat show he has a healing factor since he still manage to get up after this video end and the hospital scene where he has very little bruises shown on him right before he jumps out the window. It doesnt explicitly says he has one but even he hinted that all he needs is just one day rest and he will be all right
@@isham2044 honestly chalked that up to what seems to be an insanely high pain tolerance but yeah it seemed like too big of an oversight to just be a mistake, esp with how consistent peacemakers injuries are
I feel like the moment chosen for his knife skills isn't a good one. episode 6 he's able to turn around while running and hit someone directly center in the chest, then episode 8 while he's falling to the ground shot he takes out a butterfly behind him.
When i saw him aiming the M82 at the people eating, I thought it was gonna try and be realistic and just absolutely decimate both the adults in one shot
That shot should've hit both of them, he was standing directly behind the wife. No way is a .50 cal at that small distance stopping at one person, it would've blown her head clean off and kept going.
