Will Challoner in Vigilante Joker playthrough, if you say that you were never friends or stay silent, he actually becomes more like comic book Joker than villain one. The thing about Joker is that he doesn't hate Batman. And in villain storyline Joker seems way too insecure, while in this one, it seems like Joker is full in the end, finally finding his self.

It is a very interesting quote. It is aimed at both Bruce and himself. Joker is messed up himself, and Bruce/Batman is messed up for seeing him as a friend.

@@abovethelaw4417 I think it more on how people are saying guys like Bruce Wayne would never be friends with John Doe. Harley says it in the car scene, and Joker says it at the end of the villain path. For Bruce to confirm that he saw John as a friend implies he's as messed up as John.

This is Telltales Joker. Classic Joker doesn't feel right in this Batman Universe. Joker seemed like he wasn't a complete monster, but a lost soul with his heart in the right place.

Not to mention a lot of egging on from Harley. Even with her in custody (or the Suicide Squad rather), the repercussions were felt due to her meddling. There was no going back for him. For now. Who knows what's in store if Telltale does Season 3.

I still prefer Heath Ledger and Mark Hamill's joker over this one but I still love this version. Telltale's Joker is the most human out of all his counterparts, which is what I love about him.

I have some disagreements and things to add. *Jack Nicholson's Joker -* Not the perfect reason they're archenemies. I always viewed them as archenemies because of their opposing morals. There is no villain in Batman's rogue's gallery who can challenge Batman's moral code the way Joker can. In Batman (1989), the idea of Batman dropping Joker into the vat of chemicals is perfectly fine, but I don't like Batman knowing who Joker is. And I hate the idea that Joker is the one who killed Bruce's parents. *Mark Hamill -* No complaints here, he's definitely the best voice. *Heath Ledger -* Agreed on the "sadistic tendencies", but I also think The Dark Knight is the only movie to get Batman/Joker rivalry perfectly. In Batman (1989), Batman and Joker are rivals due to creating one another, but other than that it's a rivalry with no moral stakes. Joker has boring morals (money, power, sex), and Batman just wants to kill him. There's nothing wrong with a simple rivalry, Batman and Joker's relationship doesn't need to be deep. But The Dark Knight got it better. Joker starts out using Batman as a way of getting the mob's trust, but the more he spends time with him, the more he grows a fascination with his moral code, and tries to break it. That's been the point of their rivalry for years. The rivalry between Batman and Joker isn't a physical battle, but a battle of morals. Even the final battle between Batman and Joker is physical for only a moment, but boils down to whether the passengers will kill each other or not. Batman does send Joker to prison, but he wins the fight when the passengers choose not to kill each other, proving to the Joker that people aren't as cruel as he thinks, and refusing to kill him. *This one -* Agreed. "Almost-perfect". If the series were to continue, I hope Telltale would've ended up giving Joker and Batman the moral debate that makes them so fascinating, because this is a perfect origin for that rivalry.

Well I feel this one is the best voice. I feel this is the ONLY voice that actually makes the joker sound like a psychopath.

His violent outbursts, his lack of real empathy for others, and he’s implied to be Schizophrenic with voices in his head telling him to do bad things. I didn't say he wasn't insane in the other version. But the villain Joker was nowhere near as violent or as manic as what happened to vigilante Joker. It seems vigilante Joker trying to restrain himself just ultimately lost his marbles. The level of violence he inflicted on those agents was actually more over the top than anything he did in the villain version. Also the Joker killed those agents who did nothing to him violently..he's no anti hero...he's a villain.
