Mascha ‪@musingsbymascha‬ came up with this idea to share our top five of each major arcanum in a dedicated video, airing every few weeks. I have mostly stuck to five cards per major. Timestamps below.
These are my current favourite Chariot cards:
02:16 a modern Marseille Chariot
04:30 a fun Chariot from a brand new deck
07:37 a Chariot that sails and soars
09:26 a Chariot that flows
10:53 a movement-based Chariot
12:05 a Chariot trapped in the Tholian Web

Thank you for this wonderful Chariot installment, Laura!😻 I really do get very excited seeing the notifications form @Aquamarine18 popping up every 2 weeks on my mornings in Australia and look forward to them too! 😍Your insights have been eye-opening to me and I'm so grateful for your presence in TTT! 💚 ...putting the Gay Marseille onto my wishlist! 🥰

some new to me decks here, thank you for sharing your cards and your thoughts with us! I have a one of a kind personal deck that a friend created (78 little watercolour paintings) and the chariot is their truck, painted from the driver's point of view which I absolutely love. Also love the canoe in the Gaian Tarot, the combination of focus and power comes through in that one. And there's something about the way our human agency and decision making is fully embedded within the energy of the natural world around us that is so much a part of that entire deck that really feels important in The Canoe.

💜 Oh wow, a deck created one of a kind by a friend, that is so special! I like that canoe card too, as someone who canoes pretty regularly. Solo canoeing in particular has a Chariot feeling of focused direction.

@@aquamarine18 I'm from the West coast of British Columbia and have seen Orcas while kayaking which is the most amazing experience! Also, just a funny story about Chariot cards, don't know if you have Sasuraibito Tarot but I was bitten by a horse when I was a kid and that card just straight up scares me!

@@heatherb7565 I haven't ever had Sasuraibito no but I understand why that one would scare you! Oooh wow orcas. I have never seen something so large while canoeing! Lots of herons, kingfishers, loons, and the occasional large fish but I'm in the Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario so definitely no whales! 🤣 I have seen some whales on a trip to the east coast, but not from a canoe.

Love that you highlighted the view on the Chariot as movement not necessarily in terms of physical movement from location a to b but in terms of development, progress or innovation. I think often times that aspect tends to be overlooked especially when it comes to how creators depict it.

💚 I agree with that. I like a Chariot in physical motion but I do think sometimes that can end up being so much the focal point that it constrains interpretation a bit.

I always love your insights to the cards. A favorite of mine is the Chariot from the Spacious Tarot. The energy of the card seems to pull me in two directions, one is an easier path and the other takes more work. Both are achievable. Which one will I choose? Another is from the Gill Tarot, the card seems to ask "Will I control the ride or will the ride control me?" Does it even matter? It seems my readings always ask questions back at me. lol

💜 Ooh I do like that Spacious one. Gill I'm going to go look up!! I've never had that deck and don't know it super well.

I like the sailboat...it has "full steam ahead" vibes (not a sailing term, I know). I almost included the Star Trek TNG deck, also the Enterprise. 💜

💜 Yesss the Enterprise is such a good Chariot. I need to get out my TNG deck and see which cards might go in TopTarotTrumps.

I’m down for Riots not Diets 💯 The chariot makes me want the Star Trek tarot 😅

💜 It's a really good deck! I think they did such a good job of pairing episodes and characters to cards.

I love how many of these felt so far from traditional imagery, as the rws and Marseille ones really don’t hit it for me. Loving all your vids for this series.

💜 Oh you're going to keep loving them then because you know I've got non-traditional cards for every single arcanum! 🤣

Hi Laura, you never disappoint showing us some surprising decks! Looking forward to the next majors. I couldn’t hear the name of the deck with the “riots, not diets” chariot. The transcript didn’t help me either. Could you please tell me the name of that deck? Thank you so much.

Of course! It is called Le Tarot Souverain·es -- it is a deck by a creator named Emmanuel.le and it funded on a French crowdfunding site called Ulule. 💜
