In this video Im collecting some of my favourite mushrooms while hiking through my well know forests and hills. I end up on a small hill top in the middle of the forest where I start a fire with flint and steel and cook my self a fantastic Viking October Autumn Stew.
Ingredients: Beef, bacon, onion, garlic, porter, mushrooms and sage.
Followed with a simple flatbread made from wheat flower and water.
On the way I stumble upon a small group of wild boar foraging on the forest floor midst the oaks and beech trees. Only very few wild boars live wild in Denmark, but these are in a huge privately owned natural park. Even here there is only a few and its a rare chance to see them.
All gear in this video is either made by me or my fellow reenactor friends and resemble copies, reproductions or very close interpretations of actual items from the viking age. This a very accurate image of how it could have looked back then - not hollywood VIKINGS.
Recording Gear:
Canon 600D
Kit lens, 50mm 1,8 and 75-300mm
DJI mini SE
Boye Shotgun mic (with bad connection -sorry for the static noise)

I think those boar were doing the same thing you were. Beautiful walk in autumn - such a pretty forest. Thanks for the tranquil video - love the use of the different angles and what I assume is someone else using a drone.

I love the boars. So peacefull. Im happy to hear you found the video tranquil. Im doing All the camera work. When flying the drone i try to hide the remote in a blind angle and it works ok most of the time. Im sure of you look closely you can once in a while spot an akward hand position or me looking down to the screen to check im not crashing into anything:) the drone has a few programmed flight Pattern that makes this possible if used creatively. All the best:)

🎩Hi, aargh as usual you have made me hungry. A great video. A true tale of caution. I used to find giant puff balls every year and they were great, then one year I had a very nasty reaction. Yuck. So be careful even about the ones you know.

Thats right i have to keep that in mind. Some bellys just wont do with certain types of Mushrooms Even if they are Considered eadible. Thank you for sharing.

Great videos mate. I have yet to sit down and watch all of them, but I would recommend an in depth presentation of all your tools and utensils if there isnt one like that yet. I love those caved details on your cups and everything. Would be nice to have a dedicated video for them as well, since there was clearly so much dedication put into making of those items :D

Beautiful pictures, lovely music and a soothing atmosphere - love it! I wish we had such big, beautiful forests where I live. Our forests are often too small to even go for a walk in them and if they are big enough they are popular with climbers, hikers etc. So they often times get rather crowded. Do you ever meet other people on your hikes? And if so, what do they say about your Viking outfit? I am pretty sure that I would be stared and laughed at if I wore my Viking clothes around the forests here... 😅
@RAMUNI-Viking
@RAMUNI-Viking 2 года назад
Thank you. Yes i often meet other People and most of Them look a lot with and stare but are too shy to say anything. Then often i break the silence explaining what Im doing. But mostly tryto be out early and be as remote as I possible can in a small country. But the forests Are not as big as I would wish and at least 3 different locations appear in this video. And often i have a tractor engine or a chainsaw in the background and have to work around it:)

@@RAMUNI-Viking Oh, I see! The magic of editing 😉Thank you for your answer!
@RAMUNI-Viking
@RAMUNI-Viking 2 года назад
Yes. But I Will add that some of our forests Are really big but then some of Them Are prohobited for drones, Others only on the official paths for walking, some not allowed to make fire. So to make a video like this possible and also show different kinds of Woods and landscape i choose to stitch together more than one locations. But in other videos its just 1 which is also more relaxing to do.

@@RAMUNI-Viking We as viewers really appreciate all the work and effort you put into those videos! Just make sure you don't overwork yourself. We would rather have a one-location video by a healthy Rasmus than a multi-location video by a burnt out one. Take care!
