wish u would have shown the lettering stitches. I have an Eden Rose but the lettering stitches r not great and I use them alot for labels and other things. So that would b something to share on this video.
Three things I'm looking for that were not mentioned - - - 1) is a "stitch in the ditch presser foot available? 2) Is a knee-lift bar available to raise the presser foot? 3) Does it have a buttonhole/blanket stitch?
Being an electronic machine, I doubt there is a knee bar available. At least I have not seen one. There is a button on the front though. Yes it has a button hole stitch. Anything the Epic or Epic II can sew, that is non embroidery is machine capable
I want to know what feet come with it. I also need to know how much the extension table is. I am really interested in this machine and have been debating buying it for 2 weeks now. Everytime I look at machines, I end back looking at this machine. Also, what's the wArranty like?
Your video demonstrating the Epic 980Q is on spot -love it. Although video is a few years old, I was wondering if you can answer my question. Can the Epic use 3rd party foot or is it proprietary to Viking only? Thank you.
The Epic uses the Viking feet. There might be some 3rd party feet that could work on it but it is best to use the feet that are created for your machine by the manufacturer.
Hi, I forget to ask about the the tension system explained in your video 13:14. You explained a two tensions system on this sewing machine. So, there are two types for each side, which side is for what? Is the left side for the regular tensions and the right for the one with the two wheels? I tried to look it up online in the PDF manual and can’t find any info. Thank you again.
The two tension systems on the 980Q work with out you having to do anything. It is not a matter of threading on the left or right side but rather which is used depending on the stitch chosen or machine function.
