Hey dude, watched your video. It’s great, but do yourself a favor and go to the hardware store and get shorter bolts! The bags are useless this way because the bolts are in the way.
Thank you. This was very useful. I actually just purchased a 2022 vulcan and a set of Viking saddlebags, just like you. I had already come to the same conclusion for your installation, but it was really excellent to see your installation. I also found the instructions to be garbage. I think they did a google translation from Chinese. The grammar was poor and the instructions almost incomprehensible. But, the bags seem really nice and well built.
10:49 Excellent video but I think I would change out that long bolt for a shorter one. I could see that bolt being a serious problem when you load them bags up.
