some games will never die and for good reason! i would love perhaps a video of medieval 1 (THE GOAT) mods, where to get them and how to install them, as it can get tricky with a title this old. Keep doing the Lord's work!!
Might check this one out! Tsardoms just released a seperate Late campaign mod with new factions, if you didnt already know, id love to see you take a look at it!
I love how the terrain looks! The faction placement looks good, but the areas around the Baltics/Belarus and in Northern Italy seem a bit desolate. I'm not very knowledgeable about this time period, so what factions could fit into those areas, if any?
Hi gudea, i hope you're having a great day! I have a request, can you please check out the mode Europe Ancient, a mod that "remasters" the OG rome by porting it to the Medieval 2 engine, and also fixing bronze age egypt and adding more stuff.
For the Dark Age (an expression that is not very use in french) I would prefer a mod on the frankish renaissance. But this post-Charlemagne setting look good also.
Thanks for showcasing this mod! I have it on steam and have placed the folder and bat file as it says in the bi holder however bat file won't work. Cannot find anything about that at Mod DB. Any ideas?
@@GudeaTW thanks mate for your speedy reply. I've just learned something new thanks. Only question I have is what is wording for launch option? I tried location address of bat file but don't work.
@@GudeaTW Thanks mate. Problem though is with the code. Copied it as per video and only changed name of mod but still problem. "RomeTW-BI.exe -viking -show_err -mod:IBRR" and "RomeTW-BI.exe -viking -show_err -mod:viking"
I downloaded the mod from the link, but after following the instructions on where to extract the mod I can't get it to open. Did you have to do anything other than extract to Rome/bi and open with the batch file? I also tried opening as an administrator. I have it installed on Steam.
After hours of trying different ways to open the mod from the Rome properties launch options, I am giving up in defeat. I have Rome Gold and it only gives me the option to open Rome or BI. Nothing else is possible, so I tried moving the batch file to the Rome folder. The game started to open and then game me an error message and crashed. Sorry! It looked interesting and it is my favorite time period that no other game really covers - the 9th century. Lots of possibilities, but it should be easier to open.
I recently had to uninstall Rome, but I might reinstall it just to try it. I'm not that interested in vikings to be honest, but the fact that it shows more of the world in that time period makes me curious
why british people didn't became viking at this era. But when asia minor conquered by turks, they call themself türk. İnteresting situation. I think because of religion. Are they converted to islam? what are your toughts?
Well turkification did not happen that quickly, and of course was completed through genocide. I'm sure many English became Danish but eventually the Danes were pushed out.
@@GudeaTW yes you are right. Im turkish btw. From Trebizond. you know that city from m2tw. There are so many christians 100 years ago but because of pop exchange they gone to Greece. We know relationship between our muslim grandparents and christians from the stoeries. They lived side by side with no agression for centuries. Also when trebizond conqiured by 2.Mehmed. The city show no resistance and emperor's family went to İstanbul. lived there so many years. Unfortunately the türk term is changed in these days. Turkish republic is secular now. And if you turkish citizenship then you are turkish. There isn't muslim-christian distinction. I said unfortunately for agressive radical muslims. Im not those men 😀.
