Great video. Looks like a very cool and interesting museum. Like the fact it’s so interactive. Makes learning so much more fun - not only for kids but adults too.So fun to see a RU-vidr from Denmark. Especially from Jutland or Jylland in Danish. Especially since I from Copenhagen and I never really go to Jutland except from visiting family in Southern Jutland in Aabenraa and Northen Jutland Aalborg. And I always travel by car on the motorway or freeway and never really do a detour to go e.g. to Moesgaard and the Old City in Aarhus. Actually never been to Aarhus at all even though I have cousin living in Brabrand. Anyway always fun to see what happens in Jutland or in Denmark in general and see what cultural or touristy things to do. Especially also since a lot of travel and living vlogs are from the US (nothing wrong in that though). Just fun seeing a Dane doing RU-vid. I was wondering about your Danish accent when speaking English. To me it’s hard to hear if not none existing at all. Did you live or travel to the States a lot when you were younger and not having Morten and Max in your life? To me it sounds like you picked up a North American accent or dialect. Anyway always enjoy your videos. Hope to see more when you go on a European road trip later this summer. Did you decide yet where to go or do we just have to wait and see? BTW definitely know the feeling of not exploring the local places and touristy things to do. Always fun to play a tourist in your own city when having time of from work.
Hi Joakim, I love it when Danes watch and comment, it's pretty rare, but maybe more will join in during these DK videos:) Østjylland is so gorgeous and hope you like checking it out this way.. and I really recommend you make a little pit-stop on your next stop to Aalborg:) I stayed in the US twice for 2 and 4 months so definably where my american accent comes from, oh I get so tung twisted sometimes.. especially when I'm tired.. but a lot of things in my life are in english so I don't find switching back and forth to difficult:) Next week we have a video from Vest Himmerland coming up, then Gråsten, sønderborg, Djursland in general, Svenborg, Odense and the west coast.. that's what's planned right now and I can't wait:) So happy to have you watching:) Maria

OMG I want to get on a plane to see this right now lol!! Definitely want to see this when I get to Denmark (I have only been to Billund because my daughter won a trip there 15 years ago!)... so far I have managed some of Norway, so Denmark and Sweden next ;). I love your Scandinavian history in connection to British and Normandy history so there are a lot of places on my list. What an excellent museum this is and love how you make it a day out with Max so he can enjoy it, too! We did this kind of thing in England and Switzerland when our kids were small and they still talk about it as adults (and take the grandchildren!). Big thumbs up!!
The museum looks so fun! I was almost a US History major in college so I love that idea. We have a great museum one town over and my husband wants to bring the 3 of us soon, now that it is warmer out. I can't wait!
Yes, I have been there many times between childhood school visits and work visits with my old job. I just haven't been with Natalie that I can remember. And they have an awesome store which doesn't hurt...
Yep we are all from Denmark, my dad did a dna test and showed 97,5% scandinavian and 2,5 Scottish witch is one of the areas the Vikings raded the most.. and kidnapped women from.. sorry scotland, but yes I'm fairly confident that we go back to the vikings on my dads side. My moms dad's family way back left Switzerland, settled in Germany a few hundred years and then came to denmark almost 200 years ago.. but I've been wanting to do a dna test to find out, but my scandinavian "score" will definably bee high:)
This is one of the most interesting and amazing museums I have ever seen. The building is stunning and the exhibits are very unique and different than most other museums. If I ever make it to Denmark, this would be on my list of must see places. Thank you for sharing.
So cool that Max had such a great time at the museum as well! I just left Denmark yesterday. I went to Kronborg Castle. So beautiful! It was so sunny and warm, I got a sunburn on my nose!
