Haven't been the biggest fan of 5b, but man what an incredible episode. Probably one of my top 10 Vikings episodes of all-time. From the battle, to Alfred's speech, to Ragnar's soundtrack. Just amazing. Skol!

I'm impressed by Vikings because they were people who had no fear, people who knew what honor, respect and trust are, people who pushed their limits. Today there are a few people who know what honor, respect and trust are and every time I see video like this it gives me strenght to push my limits, to not be lazy and to have no fear of death because I will be with God in Heaven.

I have to say, this young gentleman playing Alfred really has done a great performance so far. Especially his emotions and tears after the battle. The small twitches to his face as he speaks. His eyes express quite a bit too. He's never shallow imo.

Brother you are the craziest editor and what i know the one of the most talented people with creativity on the level of God. Your music is always such a enjoyable experience with connection of quotes, scenes and parallels. This one which describes fully the episode 5 and start of great path of Alfred The Great belongs to my most favorite Vikings videos. This connection between Alfred, Aethelwulf, Ecbert as Kings and Men of God is fantastic. I also love how you managed to find all connections between Alfred & Ubbe and Ragnar & Athelstan. So about the video. 0:00 - 0:18 - What i learnt in past 2 years watching your edits and try to inspire from your channel. You know how to always to manage make great intro in your videos. This part is so powerful, not just because of the quote, but because of Scene choice with Slow-motion. I love on you how you care about choosing which scene that then it describes perfectly particular quote. 0:23 - 0:25 - OMG this is perfect quote parallel i was trying to find 3 days for a edit. And you found him haha 0:25 - 0:34 - Again this brilliant connection between quotes and scenes makes me almost cry cause of beauty. "the light" and the look through a hole.. i love it brother. 0:50 - 1:22 - Its almos funny how much seasons it takes with this Theme of Claiming the Land. I truly hope Alfred will keep his promise and give that land to Ubbe and others. I love this part, because you managed to describe this theme which took many seasons in just 30 seconds... incredible. 1:23 - 1:32 - This is what i was talking about. These parallels between Ubbe, Alfred, ragnar, athelstan. Love them so much. I am glad of friendship between them because after a season without Ragnar and 2 seasons without Athelstan. The whole show felt "empty" because of their friendship. And seeing this again in your video, brings me happy memories. 1:32 - 2:43 - This my friend, was the most epic sequence i saw after a long time. So much quotes, scenes and even what happend there is pure masterpiece. It would takes a hours to describe every second you made. I cannot believe what i am witness for. I don't love this part just because fight scenes, but the atmosphere.... brother, you created really something and now you should eat popcorn and rewatching this haha. I still cannot belive that you made it in such a short time. Epic. love the quotes "learn from the prince, from shepperd, from highest and from lowest" when u pointed on Vikings hahaha brilliant :D also "now and forever" oh lord how i miss Ecbert :/ this actor is one of the best in Tv shows and his perfomance, quotes are the best for editing. Wish he could be in the show. And the end which again fully describes what happend and it feels like end of season. I am so glad you finished this edit Zurik, missed your Vikings and i cannot wait to see more of your projects from this serie and alot another. Good luck in everything and thank you for such a experience.

Thank you for another masterpiece. History always repeats so here is another example.. Ubbe and Alfred's relationship has been the highlight of this season. Ubbe's my favorite Ragnarsson, he's more sensible, approachable, open minded, less blood thirsty but still a beast on a battlefield. Alfred is a good king and generally a decent person, he's becoming one of my few favorite characters. P.S Ecbert's final words to Alfred are priceless.

I just noticed the reoccurring themes I only noticed the of Ragnars/Ubbe and Athelstan/Alfred. But the Christians and North men teaming up to fight their own men is just poetic. Like father like son the curiosity between different religions forms strange but strong bonds.
