We couldn't get by Detroit, and you think we can compete with Baltimore or KC in the playoffs, wed have to get past Detroit first, even if that happened, i dont see darnold, playing good enough to get by these mobile QBs. I feel we should make a big move to win a superbowl.
Giants are in complete rebuild mode... they don't have a lot of talent and they need to rebuild quickly... don't through cold water on the Lawerence trade to quickly... one never knows
On the bright side, the Lion's win may dissuade them from making a big move like going after Crosby or Garrett, and settling for a rental like Uche or Zadarius. Their pass rush was pretty weak on Sunday.
@@robertcolacino7310 Whatever. If the Lions had lost I would have expected them to urgently address their pass rush, even going hard out for Crosby or Garrett. Now, I'd be surprised if they went after any big names at all. I think that's great for the Vikes, because by the time the Lions figure out that their patchwork pass rush isn't going to work, that the trade window is closed and they will be stuck with what they've got.
@@robe2504 This is only the case if They manage to win out the next two games and The Titans should be an easy one but They play the packers a day or two prior to the deadline And if they lose that game I have a feeling they do the opposite of this and go after a big name still got 2 weeks left before the deadline hits plenty of time to figure out if they want to make that deal or not Nov 5th is the deadline
@@lennox21 True. Hutch is a big loss, but it might take a week or two for it to really show up. Zadarius seems like a good rental option. Chase Young is still only 25 and should still have a lot of upside, and is only on a one year deal. Azeez Ojulari from the Giants could be another option.
I think being 5-1 and in the middle of a tight division, Along with ample cap space next off-season, This is the time to do it. If they can get even better against the pass and the run, YOU DO IT. Next years 1st looks like a low first rounder now. Simmons or Lawrence could put our defense in the top 3 in the league.
That's the most realistic comment I've heard among podcasters. Talking about how DL would be here for years to come. Not just a rental. He's PROVEN. Definitely worth 2 first rounders and maybe sprinkle in a 3rd or 4th in 26. Beats out having a question mark about someone coming out of college that may or may not be the real deal. I'm still waiting for Dallas Turner to crank it up. I feel he's still adjusting to the big boy league. They're moving him around a lot though and I love seeing that. BFlow knows wtf he is doing no doubt about it. Don't be surprised if Dallas Turner ends up turning into a monster by week 12. Given he stays healthy.
Lions are tough. But, if we(the Vikings) could have come up with a couple 1st downs in the closing minutes, it would have been a Vikings W. Side note. I like KO'C. But, I don't like so much media appearances. I don't remember past Super Bowl coaches providing that much media exposure.
We are going to draft a DT or CB in the first round next year anyway, so why not just trade it for a Pro Bowler at the position since we are in our Super Bowl window
The CB room really lacks viable young players. Projection on a UDFA like McGlothern. Maybe Flores can unlock Nahshon's traits. Mekhi is missing an entire season of development. Akayleb is the most viable future starter in that group. How will Metellus's role change if Hitman retires? Simmons or Lawrence are very exciting but the opportunity cost is significant and there are a lot of questions in that backfield. Cleveland's contract is 24m, Brandel's is 9m. Not happening. He just got smashed by another Vikes reject Jaquelin Roy that stopped a 4th and 1 redzone play in London.
What I want to know is where these "trade rumors " originate, who is responsible for getting the rumor ball rolling because, personally, I'm getting pretty tired of all the rumors and rather hear team news on what is actually going on.
I never do the "we should go get" Aaron Jones is only signed for a year I like Akers but we should've waited out the Jets for Breece Hall he's being wasted in NYC and they drafted Braylon Allen and he's not even 21 they lose a few more he's out
The NYG aren't giving up Lawrence. Then they'd have to replace him. He's have to want out and DL don't do that drama queen stuff. I'd say RG, C, or QB. IF Darnold goes down, we're 1000% f'd. We could be 14-1, sitting on topof everyones rankings, Darnold gets rolled on and that's that. Season over.
Jesus to the C. What if Darnold does go down and we end being forced to trade for Daniel Jones because he's the best player available? Vikes have to go get a QB to back up Darnold asap.
Lions fan here... lions going after garrett AND smith, mega deal loading... I hope you guys don't go for stafford, darnold will do you better. See you week 18. Hopefully it's for division. NFC north for the SB win
If it’s a fantastic player who can help us and he’s gonna be better than anyone we could get by drafting go for it special if he has years on his contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#13k
