This will probably sound weird, but as an Eagles fan, this is my favorite game ever. I know the very next game they won the SB... but this game was winning the conference championship in style... how I want my team to win every big game... took the first punch from the other team and then just annihilated them... multiple big plays on O and D, ball control, blowout. No question who the better team was on that day. Of course, I was beyond thrilled that they won the SB, but that game was all nerves to the very last play, whereas this one was over in the 3rd quarter.

I know their are plenty of people that had to wait a hell of a lot longer than I had to but I'm so happy we finally did it and we beat the team that denied is the last time we were in the Super Bowl. You could literally make a movie out of out story. From the beginning of the season till the finish. Their is just something so special about this team. You could feel this was going to happen but were too afraid to say it or brag or boast, but inside I think we knew this was the year. The 61 yard field goal against the Giants was what set the tone for the season. I love this team with all my heart and soul and I will never forget what they did for this City and it's fan's. overrated still had the number one defense that not even the saints or eagles could obtain. they obviously werent over-rated with a final record of 14-4 and shutting the rams highly anticipated offense to just 7 points. what the vikings did to the rams, the eagles did to the vikings. neither team were overrated, its just home field advantage as well as a better offense and a defense that never played. because lets face it, the vikings defense never showed....

Huge shout out to Howie Rosman!!!! Torry Smith, Alshon Jeffery, Blount, Chris Long, and Nick Foles were all added prior to this season. All had a huge game against the Vikings. Also Derrick Barrnet played big, also a Howie decision as far as drafting the rookie. Awesome!!!!

Victor Benner Actually, NE is only 1 game above .500 in SuperBowls. They won 5, and lost 4. Pittsburgh won 6, So NE is in last place of the other couple teams that won 5 SBs. Even if they win vs Phi, Pit will have a better winning percentage in SBs. But it's a moot point because Philly's #1 Pass Rush is going to crush Brady, and now their backup sucks.

I just did. Let me explain in detail as to why I want the Eagles to win. First of all, I could not care less who wins the Superbowl this year. It is pointless. However, if the Eagles win, there is ever the slightest chance that for the first time in the 15 years I have lived near Philly, that all the whining, excuse making, bitching, screaming, and hating might stop for a few months. Of course, let's be real here. The Eagles could win the next 5 Superbowls while going undefeated every year and still find something to complain about. So yes, I can hate the Eagles and hope they win all at the same time.
