I imagine most people who are angered about race, are angry at the double standard that exists and is perpetuated in the current liberal world. The issue with fear is that it's often irrational. Fear is something you can create in others through propaganda. Allowing fear based on lies to dictate policy is an awesome way to run society straight into totalitarianism, which we see happen in places like Hungary and Poland, for instance. It's easier to drum up fear and assign blame (in this case to immigrants) than it is to deal with the underlying systematic issues that would actually make society better. If you want to live in fear, and in a society ruled by it, that's your choice. I for sure don't.

They weren't that interested in forcing their religion upon people they conquered, unlike other Christian kingdoms such as the Frankish Kingdom under Charlemagne, or the Byzantines. In fact, you see the Vikings slowly adopting Christianity over time. So in that regard, compared to their historical counterparts, you could argue that they were rather tolerant.

The deities are representations of the forces within people, nature and the universe, denying those forces exist is quite lunatic. Jesus probably existed indeed but he was of course not literally the son of an almighty deity that is taking notes up there of your good and bad behavior, that's also not the message he and the first Christians wanted to spread. The bible is the result of a bunch of translations and interpretations of texts that were already written down in a very cryptic way to prevent prosecution by the roman empire. The original texts and customs do contain a lot of wisdom, a lot of it is lost though since the rolls are written in a dead language for people who actually knew what the meaning of the cryptic texts where. And sorry to break it to you but I have the feeling that the flavor of Christianity you're following is just a bunch of nonsense else you would have respect for other religions. If you really want to dive deep in 1 religion, you have to also learn about other religions and see the connections to actually uncover some wisdom that is buried inside the myths of old.

I think there is evidence of Vikings taking foreign wives (often from Mediterranean regions) and the children born to Viking father's were accepted as normal members of society. I could be wrong though.

Except for areas in Scandinavia and England the vikingers didn't really concour much. It was a lot more about the raiding as they were more interested in the gold than the land. The people they captured during the raids were of course either slaves or concubines. The areas a viking tribe would concour in scandinavia would probably be treated just like any other concourd piece of territory and people. In England and other areas it wouldn't really matter as most would be slaughterd, used for sacrifice or taken as slaves. But to answer the question the vikings would accpet outsiders if the where of use to them as for example linguists. But usualy the question didn't come up a lot as they were heathens in a christian Europe so most outsiders except for some missionairs would mostly stay away from them.

Nobody wanted to settle in the frozen wilds the Vikings came from. The Vikings themselves however settled all over the place, and intermixed with the people there. Everywhere from Eastern Europe to Sicily and even Tunisia. Additionally, there is almost no written primary sources of early medieval Vikings, so why would there be of some foreign dude coming there?
