Sporting CP fans you're getting a top quality striker, please look after him and cheer him on, he'll be sorely missed here at Coventry and we love you Viktor. We wish you all the best 💙❤💙
Just "Sporting" or "Sporting CP" please 💚 Seems like we got a great player, hopefully you get a nice replacement. Best of luck for Coventry and all the supporters 💙
I know this is a video about Vik, but some of the setups and through balls are phenomenal. He did some great solo goals of course, but im not nervous about the future without him if we can keep our midfield together. That being said, thanks for everything big Swede. Onwards and upwards for you i hope. 💙
(I am apparently the grandest supporter of CCFC from Slovakia for approx. 35 years. VG´17´ was/is one of the greatest strikers in Coventry history. Wish him many sport success in new club).
Sad to see him leave Coventry and feel more dreadful 😅 to him being sold to one of my clubs biggest rivals as I’m a Porto fan. Been following Viktor since he signed permanently for Coventry 2 seasons ago and I have a feeling he will take Portuguese league by storm scoring wise, a 6,2 striker who has a strong hold up play, can outrun defenders with his powerful runs and can drift wide and assist as well. I wish him all the best but against my Porto but to my countrymen Sporting fans out there hoping he turns out good, remember this Viktor will do wonders for you lot, be damn sure he will. Good luck Big Vik 🔥 🇸🇪
Coventry fans, is it true he needs lots of space? Portuguese defenses are notoriously of the 'park the bus' type, so people are saying he won't be any use because he won't have room. Any truth to this?
As a Porto fan and been in London for 6 years now, I have been watching Viktor closely since he signed permanently for Coventry 2 years ago, I can tell you that you got nothing to worry about, he’s a strong and physically imposing striker who is no slouch in having the ball on his feet and can outrun defenders, can drift wide and assist as well, got a feeling he will take the league by storm scoring wise and when I heard Sporting was after him I felt jealous to the point as how come my club doesn’t go after him, he could’ve left last January ( Everton,Wolves etc, we’re interested but didn’t to push for a playoff spot in the championship ) you got a man here who will score loads of goals and I wish him all the best but against my team 🔵⚪️. Remember this he will be a gem for you guys
@@johanrijhkelaar3627 thanks, Johan. The main issues Sporting fans are having at the minute are: 1. That description sounds just like what our current starter Paulinho already does, and we need a real target man (like Haaland, Jardel or Bas Dost.) Two Paulinhos drifting wide are useless if there is nobody there to push the ball in xD 2. He is Sporting's priciest signing ever, and joined for nearly double the initial offer (£11M and he signed for £19M - for reference, Bas Dost cost us £8.5M and scored 40+ goals for us) so if he doesn't score a hat trick in his first game he will be labelled a 'pricy flop' and forever criticised by the supporters. Especially because Paulinho (the previous priciest signing ever) was exactly that. And doubly because he could have joined on a free transfer next June. Would you say he is as prolific as, say, Hulk or Falcao were for Porto? That is the sort of numbers we would be looking for, ideally.
@@PedroBenolielBonito When I said he can drift wide is not like he will be more often on the wings rather than in the typical centre forward position, but is one of the attributes of his playing style and very useful when your team is on the backs to wall and not having to much of the ball Viktor is that kind of player who can burst forward and assist as well ( check his assist on the playoff final agains Luton) . As in regards to Paulinho, Viktor has the drive and tenacity that Paulinho in all respect to him ( and I do feel he still has a role to play for you guys but not like the main man) hasn’t got by a mile , Viktor still has a bit to evolve finishing wise but most definitely will improve that aspect and his all around game as a striker is very damn good and more that enough to star in our Portuguese league , for me as a Porto fan it would be easy to put you off and bash him to the point of saying his crap and a waste of money , but I do like the player and have been watching him loads of time to have a good understanding pf what his capabilities are . I do have a feeling he will have the same impact as Slimani had for you lot years ago if not better
@@johanrijhkelaar3627 yeah, we have been starving for a new Slimani/Dost (sadly, Sli's return a couple of seasons back did not work out due to incompatibilities with the manager.) I hope you're right, and Viktor provides a good ROI for us going forward. Thanks a lot.
I don't understand the hero worship for this guy, just another football mercenary who couldn't wait to break his contract and move to a 'bigger' club, the only time I've ever seen him smile is sitting on that private jet flying out to Portugal,no loyalty to Coventry and exceptionally good business getting the money we got for him
@@GiovanniAssis-nv1uqI ain't complaining, like I said 20 million is good money for him, just saying it like it is,he couldn't wait to go anywhere else so I ain't gonna worship him.
@@grahampye9353 You know, he could have been a jerk and just waited another year and would have been a free agent. Then we would have gotten nothing, but whether inadvertent or not he ended up doing what was best for the club. 20 million solves all our economic woes and we can now focus on becoming a real force in the championship. One that can challenge for promotion year on year. Until we get there!
