+Waha Sawas It has been reformulated because Tonka Bean Absolute is quite expensive to get as well as ambroxan.

I bought a 2016 batch and I must say it's strong it lasts well about 8 hours and create a scent bubble for about 4 hours then the next 4 hours are close encounter scent and skin scent an extra hour I'm happy with it and it performs good on my skin it matches my personality (: the extreme version is a bit creamy n sweeter, not an extreme version lol

Fragrance Oasis Yeah it did get reformulated sadly but the spicebomb I bought from 2016 was pretty solid in longevity & projection I'm guessing the original was a beast lol

It takes a while to drydown on my skin. It keeps a kind of overwhelming effect. She's right about not wearing this at work, it's just too much. Very strong and long lasting fragrance.

As a cinnamon fan, I adore Spicebomb. I have only smelled the reformulation, which I love, but I am now fascinated by the original. Certainly, I smell no chilli in this one, but I can see why Polge might have used it, to offset the sweetness.

After watching plenty of reviews of fragrances on RU-vid, and reading too many comments on Fragrantica and Basenotes, I'm of the opinion that if one likes a new release of a popular fragrance, several bottles better be purchased for safekeeping, as the formulations always seem to change in succeeding years. As a fan of Tabac cologne and the slightly different Tabac edt, the V&R Spicebomb Extreme would be more to my liking because of that stronger tobacco note. Just to be clear, you prefer the original formulation and the Extreme over the reformulated Spicebomb, but all have great skin scent longevity. What kind of projection do they all have?

They smell like different scents but I also agree the extreme is much better in strength and scent and is perfect for cold climates

Nobody believes Spicebomb has been reformulated,How in the heck can you not tell that it has been it is so damn weak now it last about 5 minutes on me and I am being very serious I feel as I have been ripped off !!

Lion Heart 5minutes!? Is this exaggeration? Or literal? I just bought this finally a few days ago after trying to purchase for 3 years. It lasts on me 10 hours inside the house on my skin. 2 days or longer on my t shirt. 8 hours walking around outside, shopping etc.

I really love the 2015 batch, but never smelled the original 2012. What batch are you talkin about as the "reformulated" one?

I have tested it in the department store recently so I would assume it is 2016 as they carry the latest releases.

Really appreciate the review as I was wondering what is the difference. But the first formulation is probably gone or hard to find so I will gravitate to the newest one. I so love leather and tobacco with fresh opening. So, between new formulation original or extreme, what would you suggest?

I want to get the original only because it has 150ml bottle and for me it's more convenient because of the price. To always get the biggest bottles of frags. Thx.
