Matt’s journey is both inspiring and somewhat different than many stories we're used to hearing. It was only 8-weeks between the time he was told he couldn't be involved in ministry as a gay man and the time he found a home at the Village in Atlanta.
Raised in an evangelical family, he faced the challenge of reconciling his faith with his identity as a gay Christian. How did he navigate this complexity of that? What was fallling in love with his husband Alejandro like? And how does art play a role in his story?
