Welcome to the third and final video series of my recent trip to Lebanon. In this video spend the last week with us exploring the most beautiful villages and towns in Lebanon! We explore the beautiful towns that Lebanon has to offer, and we also meet up with family and learn about our heritage.

I'm from Sydney Australia and I have been living in Lebanon for the last 2 years. I came for a holiday and decided to stay here. I did exactly the same as your dad did and went to see where my parents are from and the homes they grew up in. This video touched me and I am glad your dad did the same. It sort of fills up the gaps in your life. God bless 🙏

Beautiful emotional video! God bless your family. It reminded me of my first trip visiting my birthplace of Bcharre and reuniting with my family after 22 years moving to sydney. You'll never forget an experience like this.

Part joy part haunting past creeping onto the present to give meaning to continuance. Last part of video was Baskinta? Dad alomost brought to tears in mom's childhood home. That photo at the end with mom sp haunting yet revealed compassion humility; I assume left Libnan for a better life never forgetting their roots. So lucky to have each other a dad with his head between his shoulders unlike my fate...an orphan in a foreign land, no purpose, no past to look to...

The first one ( I would call it a town or small city) is Zahle زحلة I guess you are asking for the mileage (in car etc), Mileage from Beirut: 53 Km Google maps link: www.google.com/maps/place/Zahl%C3%A9,+Lebanon/@33.8499072,35.8951208,1920m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x151f351ed6742db9:0x36bc37df4214acaa!8m2!3d33.8462557!4d35.9019519 The second one where her paternal grandmother comes from is Baskinta بسكنتا Mileage from Beirut : 43 Km www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/embed?mid=1-VV6621ciO8iDCgcec_WTfMOww0&msa=0&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=33.94267926065858%2C35.793348807620504&spn=0.002706%2C0.004281&z=16&output=embed For both of them you will need slightly more than 1 hour. In case you were asking about the first part of the video, those aren't one village but rather multiple villages on the road to the Cedars. My dream is to take my family to see their roots in Palestine but Israel won't allow it. Lebanon is very close to us in culture and would be second best. Is it easy and safe?
