Great video Lee! I bought a property in the same village a couple of years ago and this is going price for property in this area (about half an hour from Veliko Tărnovo). There is a large UK ex-pat community in the village (for its size) and a couple of shops also owned by ex-pats - so anyone thinking about moving out there or using it as a holiday home will be warmly welcomed into the village. Happy to answer any questions about the village if anyone has any - if that's OK with Lee and Emily?

Thank you Spencer. I'm following Lee and Emily's channel for properties like this, and of course for their good opinion! I'm not quite ready to buy (otherwise, I'd snap this up!), but with a good expat community and peace and quiet (along with just finish work), this would be a perfect property, especially for the price! I hope it's still available in the Spring!

That's gorgeous! And, the neighborhood is lovely with a nice road. You two really do live in one of the prettiest areas of Bulgaria.

Great property for someone who is "somewhat" handy but not wanting a full gut and renovation. The only thing I would want is an internal staircase but I don't think that would be overly hard to achieve. I also loved the amount of garden space. For the price it is an absolute bargain.

Only an outside staircase...very cold having to go outside in winter to get to the bathroom during the day..and freezing at night to go to bedrooms. The grounds have much potential though

Nice video, nice to watch with a cop of coffee in the morning :) Of course this property will find a buyer, but if I would come to buy it my bigest downs on this property is that they made new floors and new wiring... New floors means that something was wrong with old ones and I would rather see what was the problem and fix it myself, and the electricity also if it was old and it was time to renew it then as a new owner I would like to do it myself that it would fit my needs. There should be at least a small toilet by the bedrooms :) Otherwise a nice place with opportunities :)

Thanks for watching and commenting 👍 The floors were replaced, just to level them out- it's very common here for the floors to be uneven, following the curve and shape of the timbers 👍

How is different kinds of infrastructure? Do you live in this village yourself? You mention a local brittish community, please tell more about this. Couple of points mate...the 'feeding troughs' in the wall of the barn, I've heard another channel describing them as made for chickens to roost at night (to keep away from the foxes) What's your thoughts? Also, I noticed the unused guttering in the barn space! So you were spot on! :)

I think you're right. From what I remember it was owned by an Irish couple and the work was either done by a British builder who lives in the village or the Bulgarian estate agent's team that owned it previously.

Yes you could get for 7k, but needing a bathroom (4K), re wiring (3k), sceptic tank (2k), rewiring (3k), repair to roof (2.5k)… so buying cheaper will end up being more expensive than this property…. Daft comment!

@@cornishhh The problem is finding competent Bulgarians, or honest ex-pats............ If you can find a competent Bulgarian, its a far better to go that route........it will cost you less...
