I'm glad that Uncle got to see an aquarium. It's really unfortunate that so many of the tanks look like they don't get enough care. Hopefully, someone will give him some education about what he saw, because not having signage or a tour guide in his language prevented him from getting as much out of the experience as possible.

I love seeing the beautiful villagers in your videos having new experiences far outside of their regular lives. Watching them (Babu in this instance) makes me realise that those of us who live in the modern world, surrounded by technology, have been spoilt, and I mean that not in a good way. Most of us have lost that sense of awe and wonder when encountering, in person, some aspect of creation for the first time because we have seen it before on TV, or the internet or in books which puts distance between us and what we are viewing so we get the experience in stages, drip fed if you will. Babu was getting his first ever exposure to most of these amazing creatures all in one hit and you can understand why he was overawed. It is something, I fear, that most of us living in the modern world will, now, never have the opportunity to experience no matter where we go on the planet, but I am so happy that Babu and other villagers involved in this project did and will, thanks to you. And we get to witness their adventures. Thank you.

Funny I was thinking exactly the same thing you commented in the video while I watched. This old man has such a childlike innocence about him that is so endearing. I see very little ego in this man. He doesn’t care what he looks like or how he acts even with the camera. I think growing up in a poor country and living a simple life has a lot to do with that.

This reminds me of when my mom and I took her vary rural sister and her husband to Walt Disney World in the early 70s. They were overwhelmed by the place, but had a good time just looking at the window displays at the shops on Main Street USA!

I remember my experience of going in the very first underwater acrylic tunnel in Auckland. It was particularly good as it was under Auckland harbour. I loved the airport baggage conveyer that moved you through the tunnel. Typical New Zealand ingenuity and can do!
