Villagers march on panchayat at Camurlim to stop Megaproject  

I remember back in 1992(I was 9 yo- but the beautiful memories are still fresh) when I had been to Goa at a family friends house in Arambol...it was so beautiful...just like my village in Vasai. Now, I don't even feel like visiting Goa...it's has lost it charm because of the commercialisation.. Just like Goa, my vasai is also losing it identity and heritage to the land mafia and builders... It's so sad that the indigenous people are losing their battle against the very people who they elect...
