There are some places in USA that make you pay for toilets as well or you have to ask for a key I always thought it was to stop people from doing drugs in the bathroom

They also make it seem like in America people dont speak other languages. Like is Mexico not America's neighbor. So most people close to Florida, or with the southern part close to Mexico, tend to speak some Spanish. Plus are you comparing America to the UK or America to Europe.

Its telling you what the UK does and not speaking the most truth about America. Like the languages, making it seem like in America people only speak English. and alot of those generalisations felt like he'd seen it once, decided that was europe and that's that. The coke can one really stuck out to me, they exist but 330ml is by far the most common atleast in Western Europe, I've not been much in Eastern but I can't imagine they use those 150ml ones as their "default" can.

And the UK is rather different to Europe generally.

I dont know when his video was made but we have tons of electric charging stations. We have lots of electric cars including Teslas. So charging stations are everywhere now.

I asked them to do this before, they blatantly replied no and said they already know about everything in India and this channel is to expose them to foreign things which are new. I tried telling them India is so vast even most Indians don’t know everything about India, it’ll be fun and educational for them to get this knowledge about their own country, but again they said sorry we are concentrating on other countries. So I stopped arguing.

@@chimrichulds Frankly, that sort of thing in more common in cities in the UK... The "this is what I pay taxes for" "I don't want to put the roadsweepers out of a job" mentality - often said by the non-working. Chicken shop clientele are the absolute worst for this. Never mind if there's a bin near them, it still goes on the ground. At least the crows and foxes help the Council out with the clean-up... My fantasy is to do a captive breeding program, put them on steroids and train them to attack the clientele!

@Alan Light (Slightly butt-hurt American here. LOL) I have to agree with you on your take that while he's an American, I got the impression - at least from this video - that he seems to prefer European cultures to his own. And that's perfectly fine. He's certainly entitled to his opinions. But there was one thing that he said in his video that really bugged me. It was when he just carelessly tossed a wrapper of some kind on the ground which, of course, strongly implied that Americans don't give a rat's a$$ about the environment. (Same with his remarks about recycling, so I guess that makes it "a couple of things".) I found those claims to be pretty unfair. I've lived in the US my whole life and I've traveled around this country and abroad many, many times. I've been in some of the most heavily populated cities on both Continents and I can probably count on one hand the number of times that I've seen someone just carelessly toss their garbage on the sidewalk or roadway. That might have been a more common problem a few decades ago, but I just don't see it these days. And as far as the recycling part goes, just about every town or city I've been in here in the states, has recycling bins either on the streets or inside the business itself. (ie. fast food & coffee chains). And to the best of my knowledge, most cities, villages and small towns that have municipal waste facilities, have you separate your recyclables from your other garbage and even give you a couple of bins in which to do that for your trash pickup. Several states also have bottle and can deposits and multiple return sites to return them to. There are also strict fines imposed for littering or not recycling all over the country. Maybe I'm just being a total "Karen" about this, but it really frosted my behind when he said those things and it made me wonder if maybe he hasn't been back in the states in a very long time. LOL

US people explaining other parts of the world has always been a bad idea XD To explain another part of the world you must first understand it, and that does not mean that spending 1 year in France, UK and Germany makes you educated enough to talk about "all Europe". But they keep seeing Europe as the US, a homogeneous place. They still can't get that the US is one country and Europe is a continent full of different countries.

If we're eating out of dinner, we take it easy, like we make time for it, because rushing your meals isn't good for you, and spending time with friends is great. Also it gets longer in the south haha

Some school districts now require students to study a language or sign language for 2 years in order to graduate. Usually most dont end up hooked on the language from my experience but it has helped some people who work in drive throughs even if its broken spanish (most common language taken here)

Much longer than that, my friend. I have an ancestor who lived on the land bridge that existed between Russia and Alaska during the Ice Age some 13,500 ago. I got it from the Choctaw, in the Southeast (Louisiana, though they occupied much of the Southeast along the Gulf Coast).

@@Grinsekatze113 True. We didn't eliminate them like the Spanish did. South America: Pretty much an entire continent of Spanish-speaking Catholics. They really did a job. We were the first to stop the slave trade and police the seas of it. We didn't have slaves here, either. Still, the Argentinians call us "colonialists" (in Spanish)... Meanwhile, in Nigeria, they have a Square with a statue to their revered Nigerian slave trader to this day.

Healthcare is certainly better in the USA, it's just that it's not free. However if you cannot pay, it's free. Most newer healthcare inventions and techniques that Europe uses is taken from U.S.

Tap water is free (aside from that at home, but that’s not much per month) if you ask for a glass of tap water at a restaurant they most likely won’t charge you for it. The bottled water is a luxury product so to say. Also a pro tip for toilets: go into a store or a restaurant to use the restrooms, they won’t charge you most of the time, even if you’re not a customer. Public toilets do cost a fee to pay for their cleaning and the infrastructure
