Also Deku's face at 0:50 makes him look like an adorable little kid like he's asking him to play at his house instead of destroying heroes and it is so cute

The fact that deku could be the best villian ever due to his analyzing skill just gave me chills

I love that the song cuts off when it does. Because Villain Deku I get. He's been true enough bullshit that honestly I wouldn't blame him for snapping and wanting revenge. Shinsou is different though. I'm not saying that he didn't have a difficult past, (God knows I just want to hug him and tell him it's going to be alright) but the bullying wasn't because people thought he was useless (like Izuku) but because they thought he had a "villain quirk". He's been fighting his whole life to become a hero and honestly I think he'd rather have Shigaraki kill him than become the very thing he desperatly tried not to become.

I like how initally he looked genuinely excited to convince him like he truly feels like hed be goving him a better life with them he was very expressive but when he realized it wasnt working he immediatly closed off and distanced himself even putting on gloves

This whole thing is just "Quit school" "Why?" " *Join my emo band* "

I love how Deku is evil and all but several shots still make him look like a loveable dork.

The way it zooms in on Hitoshi's face when he says he'd just be another clown... _Chills._ And afterwards, Kurogiri smiling (you can tell cause his eyes crinkle up and it's so sweet), Dabi looking chill for once, Toga with the doe eyes and crush posture Without the manic bloodthirst... They all look better. And when it zooms in on _Shiggy,_ you can tell that Izuku is talking to him too. "You could chill out a bit, my man. It's not a bad thing to enjoy stuff sometimes." He says 'cure your aching,' and 'break down your walls.' Shiggy is a tense, angry, and irritable motherfucker who thrives on chaos. Izuku joined the League, and everyone seemed to mellow out a bit, but here, Izuku is the one talking to the hostage, and Shiggy is the quiet threat. Either Izuku is, through T-Posing or charisma, now in charge, which Shiggy hates, or (and I like this better) Izuku showed up and was just... kind. He was understanding, and didn't judge them for their scars and weirdness. Twice? Traumatized. Toga? Literally has a dietary need for blood. Dabi? Scary to look at. But I like to think Izuku didn't care. That, villain or not, he could empathize with them. Toga got bullied by peers for her quirk situation. Dabi got beat to shit and burned by someone he looked up to and wanted to be like _for a decade._ He's good to Toga and helps her find things that fit her diet, he talks to Dabi about self destructive habits and abuse that he can relate to, he spends time with Kurogiri... He's earned their trust and he doesn't abuse it. But Shiggy has been alone since he was five, minus Kurogiri entering the scene when he was like eight at the earliest. I did the math. He's not trusting, and this is a nod to Izuku using Hitoshi as a way to remind Shigaraki that he's allowed to chill out and feel safe, that he and the League aren't an unsafe place. ...Or Izuku is just insane and Shiggy is low-key worried and mad that his authority has been undermined.

I love how you can clearly see his smart but psychotic villain side but you can also see some of that Izuku bounciness and playfulness in his movements

0:20 Deku's snarl of annoyance makes me laugh out loud That fit SO SPECTACULARLY, the fact Deku is trying to make a deal but like it was mentioned in the real story, although Shinso has a great quirk to be a villain he wants to be a hero.

I love how crazy you made Villain Deku. It just adds so much character, He's a villain and he actually loves what he does and loves that he's a villain. And so does the rest of the LOV. He's insane. And three words. I L O V E I T .

This is hands down my favorite Villain Deku Animatic. I can’t put into words why, I’ve always had trouble explaining crap, but I just know I love it. ^^

Why does I feel Deku's glance at 1:44 was more like "I'm gonna answer him, watch him for me Shigaraki" than "Haha you don't know who's behind you, aren't you?"

What’s so good about having Shinzo here is that, at any time, he could have activated his quirk while Deku was still responding to him and he could have easily gotten out of there. But he stayed because he was genuinely intrigued in what Deku was saying- literal chills from this oh my gosh. Shinzo had every chance to escape until the other villains showed up, then his fate was sealed and there was no use in him activating his quirk.

Just wanna say how much I love this all - this art style, the characters from my favourite anime, their movements, the song you used and the idea to put all that together! I'm fangirling at literally every facial expresion, no matter which time I'm seeing this masterpiece. Dude, you're a genius!

i have seen this like one hundred times and i just realized something. When Shinso says "I don't need to see the other side" Midoriya frowned. He seemed to be bothered by that. I feel like midoriya joined the league because he understood them, he took the time to try and understand their point of view and realized how broken is the society they are living with. Where if you don't meet it's expectations you're marked as a freak. Just like Dabi, And if you're different, you're no better, just like himiko, midoriya... And Shinso. So, Shinso, having gone through struggles similar to deku's, he would expect him to be better than the heroes blinded by society's expectations. But hearing him say that he won't even give it a chance, that he "doesn't need to see the other side" seeing them as villains and nothing more, it pains midoriya, specially because he would expect better from someone like shinso. Still, I love that while Shinso is doing something that hurts midoriya, midoriya is doing the same by expecting him to join them when the thing shinso hates the most is to be labeled as a criminal just because of his situation. gosh, all the little details in this animatic that makes for such great storytelling, i just love it more and more with each rewatch.

Can i just say that i love the fact that deku has COMPLETE control over the situation?? He really would make for an absolutely badass JUST LIKE how he’s portrayed here. I love this i love this i love this thank you. Shigaraki doesnt even seem to mind that deku probably ordered him to do that and was just like “aight, youre badass and smart, I’ll follow your lead” so in short: I live for this

The style!! I love the expressions too. Shinsou looking exasperated, his iconic smile, and then his fear at the end.. And the focus on the eyes was so deserved, wefgiowhwei. They're gorgeous, and done very well!

Deku going from adorable to bored to downright scary is amazing

I love how throughout this, Midoriya is mostly smug and sometimes a bit crazy, but there's certain frames where that changes and we can see the soft Deku that we're all used to. That's what really sells this as an AU that's really possible for me. Under everything, he hasn't fully changed. He still loves his team, but he's also more gentle than them, in a way. He took that kindness in his heart and uses it to try to manipulate Shinsou and that's just really... Real.

I dunno how to put this into words but I like how...dynamic this looks. Like, it's just two characters in a room, with 1 sitting in a chair and one standing, but their body movements and facial expressions are so well done that I can really feel the energy and motion of the scene.

I'm not a fan of BNHA (not my type of show, sadly) but I heard a lot about it as my brothers read the manga and it's popular. I got curious enough when I saw this video in my recommended and decided to watch cause I like the song and I'm familiar with the AU's concept. Best decision ever! This video is amazing! There wasn't much animation but the way the "camera" moves and the subtle changes in expression made the entire thing feel alive it's so good! I end up clicking on this and watching it everytime it pops up in my recommended. You did an awesome job making this video, it's so cool!
