I think if Eric is dropped, his confidence level will drop even more by 400%. He deserves a second chance more than MATS. Since we need to rotate and give Cubarsi rest, we could see Eric start at the back with Inigo or will be subbed in later on in second half. I also think that Raphinha should start as CAM and Pau Victor start on the left wing. Later on Lewa can be taken off, bring Victor to center and Fati on the left.

We NEED rotation. Especially for the youngsters. It was concerning watching Lamine crouching over with hands on knees after he score his goal, And that was only the first half

Honestly a good replacement to get for ter stegan would be that young goalkeeper AC Milan has, he’s young and very talented!

We are very confident & will register a win .The goals are immaterial for now , but a win is not negotiable . Barca are ready for total win ,, unfortunately for Villarealthe fund themselves in the line .

Villareal will put pressure on us, high up the pitch. Thus we need midfielders who are positionally aware, and Eric isn't there yet in my opinion. Although I think he has it in him. Casado and Pedri are great under pressure, so personally I'd keep them as DMs and put Torre as the 10. But let's see with Eric, I might be wrong.

I'm amazed at everyone's lack of confidence in Eric. Did we forget he was a top 5 cb last season in la liga? And he was our captain in the youth teams? And that Pep wanted hin to stay? He is an incredible player who can pull his weight around if given the opportunity.

Inaki Pena in goal, Ter Stergen on the bench. Pedri and Cassado in midfield and Raphina playing behind Lewandowski, Eric Garcia on the bench. Ansu Fati starts on the LW or Pau Victor on the LW. What's been working for Barça is bringing in the youngsters. I would like to see more of Pablo, P Victor instead of Robert, Eric is a sub for me. The less he's on the field, the better chance he doesn't make a mistake and more of Hector Forte.
