Hi Vahagn: I wish I'd known about this lens BEFORE I purchased the Nikon 40 mm f2.8. I like to think I would have given this lens a serious look had I not already had the Nikon 40 mm for the Z. Despite that, and my pleasure with my other Viltrox lenses, I recommend this one to others who use the Z mount bodies. As always, another great video, great background music and a very, very thorough review.
yup, I reviews the 13mm great lens. not the 28 though yet. I have a nice review coming up in a couple of weeks on a viltrox lens Ive been eyeing for some time now. cant wait to get it.
Your review and samples just reinforces what others have also said about this lens. It performs waaay above it’s price in every way. I maybe wish Viltrox would have added a few more aperture blades for smoother bokeh and maybe added a A/M switch on the lens even if the price went up a bit for those features. The overall optical performance though is really good, even in the corners, so you really can’t go wrong for only $158.
I have the 40mm f2 from Nikkor and it's my favorite lens for the zf. Just curious if you have it also maybe you can do a comparison that would be pretty cool to see Have a nice day my friend
