I found this video super useful. I've been relying only on the default register for too long. This feels like a superpower!

If you have little time the basic syntax is: " letter action EXAMPLE: "ay DESCRIPTION: [select the register] ['a' ] [then yank and store on it] "ap DESCRIPTION: [select the register] ['a' ] [then paste what's stored on it]
