Thank you for writing and singing Go Rest High on that Mountain I was a fan way before that but when that song came out I had a still born son then seven short months later I gave birth to extremely premature twins a boy and a girl sadly the boy passed away at five days old. We played Go rest high on that Mountain at both of my sweet baby boys funerals! Thank you for helping me through some very very dark days with you beautiful voice and song!❤️

No one can sing a love song like you in my opinion. Your songs have been the soundtracks to many milestones in my life. Say hello gave me the courage to ask a guy out. When I call your name I played over and over when I lost my sister too soon to cancer. Look at us summed up my parents glorious marriage and was listed in their 50th anniversary booklet I did for them. They were married tge year you were born. In times of joy and sadness you were listened to. And now having lost those beautiful parents dad 2 years ago mum this year. Look at us was mentioned at Dad's funeral by my brother. I had to watch at home with my heartbroken mum. I'm listening to you again . love changes everything... And wondering which brigde to cross and which bridge to burn as I carry on with life alone. Thank you for the music and the words that say everything that this heart would love to be able to say. God rest high on that mountain to all those who passed during covid and their families who survive them. Music is indeed balm for the sou.l Vinces music is sublime. Thank you Vince.

My favorite song that Vince Gill wrote and sang is "Whenever You Come Around." He is a great singer, songwriter, and plays a mean guitar. He is a great musician and person. His music has withstood the test of time. Amy Grant is a very loving, kind and caring human being, and a great musician in her own rights. I met her in Fort Worth Texas and that is when I found out she had married Vince Gill. I am happy for both of them. We are praying for her full recovery from her accident.

I was in Rudy's guitar shop in New York City in 2018, and Vince Gill walked in. I figured I'd never get the chance to meet him again, so I introduced myself and told him I loved his music. He immediately asked me how I was doing and asked what I was up to, like he was settling into a conversation. I told him I was going to see Tedeschi Trucks Band that night, and we talked about how great Derek Trucks is. I felt bad for taking up his time, so I thanked him again and left. The whole interaction was probably about 90 seconds. But you could tell that he made a decision that, if someone wants to meet him and thank him, he gives them his attention and treats them with respect. That was a great lesson for me, and a fun memory I'll always have.

Been a fan of Vince Since the Pure prairie league days. I still remember your early solo tracks like Oklahoma borderline and Everybody’s sweetheart. I think the ladder of the two is what really broke you on country radio. When George Jones gives you a nickname like “Sweet pea” you know you’re on. The right track. Congratulations Vince, You deserve it!

In my opinion, Vince gill is the most talented, artist that i have ever heard. I'm 65 years old so i have listened to a few. Lol. I worked for jimmy leake for few years. You know, channel 8 tulsa jimmy leake. I was so blessed to have had known him. For that short time. One of his best sayings was "your the best thing since sliced bread." That really said it all. I'm so proud to be an okie, its talent like yours, and really all the okie artists that shows outsiders, bein cornbread fed and sittin on the front porch with family makin memories and sometimes music, is a good thing.
