@@GrundleMathius It’s been a thing since the video for SOS came out , he used to try and fake the funk with an acoustic on Don’t Go Away Mad . It’s a crime , there are some frontmen from the genre that can flat out play guitar while singing . Tom Kiefer , John Corabi . Jani Lane was good on acoustic , Bret knows 4 Chords , JBJ knows 5 ..
Motley is just for the money. Even vince himself said that he hasn't felt the band has been there for him and still hasn't forgiven them for things over the years. (Vince Neil: My Story - 2022 documentary)
Probably because he doesn’t have to deal with Nikki and Tommy’s shit, can play songs he wants to play, can actually sing (even if it’s not great he atleast doesn’t have to fake it with backing tracks) and play with legit musicians without backing tracks
I would kill to see someone at a karaoke bar sing a motley Crue song the way Vince neil does live and have people boo him cuz id be like "whats your people's problem? He's fucking spot on!"
Wether Vince can sing or not, at least he’s seems genuinely happier with this band than with Mötley Crüe -he doesn’t have to deal with Nikki and Tommy’s shit -he can play all the songs he actually wants to play -he can go at his own pace -he can play with musicians who actually play and do legit backing vocals, unlike in MC where they all use backing tracks -Even if he’s not the greatest at singing anymore, he’s atleast not forced to use backing tracks and can actually try -considering the shit he’s dealt with in his life, it’s genuinely nice to see him genuinely happy doing what he loves
Vince can’t really sing anymore but I gotta admit bro has lost A TON of weight he looks so good. As long as he’s healthy who cares if he can sing or not! Luv ya Vince
you hear the guitar come in when Blando strums there's no guitar strum at 3:03. And if they're going to use backtracks.. you'd think they'd do vocal tracks instead of music tracks.
I was at the show.. what’s truly sad is the people who haven’t accomplished shit in the music world, weren’t at the show, and yet live to shit on Vince.. the entire crowd, which was larger than I expected, enjoyed themselves. After the show, half of the crowd stayed behind chanting for an encore.. Vince sounded better solo than with Motley. He sang word for word more than the vast majority of his contemporaries, engaged with the crowd, and put on a great show.. and yet some keyboard whiners like to feel better about yourselves by putting others down. Good on ya.. hope u learn to love yourselves.
Why isn't he playing with the band? I thought Motley Crue was on tour? I saw Vince at a rib fest back in like 95 or so. He's lost a step. Or two. Or three. Or fifty....
