Paola Gutierrez in the episode where princess Carolyn meets Vincent and his son, who we are made to believe is just the top "kid" they have different freckle patterns.
They allude to the kid being Vincent because when the kid enters the apartment he knows exactly where the bathroom is without Princess Carolyn telling him.
I feel like Vincent needs to connect with his inner child more. If he continues to only focus on his business transactions at the business factory, his relationship with princess Caroline could be even more strained. I'm honestly worried about them. Hopefully season 2 addresses this.
I thought that he was gonna be a one off character but the fact that they kept going with the bit makes it more hilarious she straight up had a whole relationship with this dude XD
the point is him and his to buddies wanna try to get drunk and party like grown ups, id say kinda but he doesn't even know what monogamy is, i think its more that hes too innocent and is trying to go with his idea of an adult persona

I'm soooo hoping in season 2 BoJack just gets frustrated with him and rips his trench coat off to reveal he's just a gangly looking adult with the broom and display model arm as prosthetics.

Fun fact. Cats cannot focus on objects about a foot in front of them. Scale up a cat to Princess Caroline’s size and - well I’m too tired for math but I would guess that her close range vision isn’t too great even at a few feet. So this - interestingly enough - makes perfect sense

It's always hilarious to me when Bojack mutters "Okay, here we go" (4:26) thinking Vincent is about to confess he's three kids under a trench coat and then gets denied.
Although Vincent is clearly three children on top of each other under a trench coat, I think it also works as a source for multiple metaphors. I see Vincent as a representation of men (or people) who may be adults in every sense, but they’re still emotionally immature, but their love interests will ignore it because they are taken in by their apparent wealth, career or social status.
I believe in the theory that Vincent is actually an adult and this is just how he looks from bojacks perspective, mostly because I find it hard to believe that he'd be able to go on that vacation without somebody figuring something out lol
I went to high school with Vincent adultman he is a adult and a man and he makes lots of businesses and he a great listener he's helped me out on more than a couple of times with life lessons and adult stuff

i think it was a commentary on how people tend to not pay much mind to the people who are clearly experiencing a crisis, even when they point out things that, upon hindsight, were quite obvious. they're so caught up in their own lives that so many details get missed and just go by them... welcome to the machine~
ngl I don't think that was forshadowing, I think the writers just like that idiom and when Beatrice's backstory came up later they wanted to make it really tragic.

I feel like Vincent Adultman is a metaphor. The show is so clever, it wouldn't just throw a "Three kids on top of each other" joke at us. Vincent is probably a personification of that feeling when you think you know something about a person yet nobody else seems to see it, and even though you think it is so clear nobody else seems to realize it, which in turn makes you angry. Which makes you question, if you're the only one who sees it, does that make you the only one who is right or the only one who is wrong?
Vincent is me. I'm 22, have my own appartment, a job, a girlfriend, everything, but i haven't got a clue how to adult. I'm pretending to be a functioning member of society while i'm still afraid of ordering pizza delivery, let alone paying rent and doing taxes and stuff.
Oh ok he is an unusual person no doubt as i'm sure him being to look/sound like a kid was a disease he had since he was a kid and his arms were in an accident as that's why he has those things for hands/arms, He's like a character out of regular show
Tbh, I thought there was gonna be an inner joke where it's revealed that Vincent is someone with mental issues and that inside the coat was a deformed man of society.
And you never ever see him disrobe, leaving just the slightest question of whether or not he might just be a double amputee with scoliosis and an affinity for trench coats.

I've told people to watch this show and they dismiss by the title alone. But besides BoJack it's jokes and characters like Vincent Adultman, that keep it interesting and fresh. Especially towards the end when the show gets a little heavy with BoJack's emotions, Vincent shows up and lightens the mood.
There's little nuance jokes that go by without a notice until the third or fourth viewing of an episode. Like the goat gardener that takes a bite out of the hedges he's trimming. Or the waitress walking up to Todd and saying "this cow likes to be tipped."
