Too bad we never got a Godfather 4. There were always rumors of it. They said that the Corleone family would finally end under Vincent’s rule- in the 80’s or 90’s. Then they’d have a dual story where Sonny, Fredo and Michael are teenagers and begin to learn about what their Father is doing. It would’ve been cool to see
Too bad we got a 3! Hate HATE this movie night n day compared to 1 & 2 ....Evidence!! Michael’s son in 2 would have taken over the business pfffff a dancer 🙄
I think the overwhelming hatred for this movie is what killed off any chances of that happening. I never understood it either: is it all about Winona Ryder?? Just because she refused the role due to exhaustion they had to find someone at the last minute to play Mary Corleone. I guess all actresses Coppola talked to refused it so he had no choice but to hire his daughter. I enjoyed the movie since it was closer to my time and was loosely based on the real life assassination attempt on the pope.
@@largol33t12I don’t believe that for a second that they couldn’t find a good actor to play DON CORLEONES daughter in a MAJOR ROLE in godfather 4. I think Copolla selfishly wanted to turn his daughter into a star and it ended up a disaster
What a beautiful and wonderful scene! Its symbolism is very strong: the old boss leaves while the new boss sits on the "throne" and receives greetings from the "Court". 👑🌟
@@foamformersTrue. Even something as basic in my job, when I was selected to be the head of my dept,, I reluctantly wanted the position due to the responsibility and complexity involved. Some ppl simply want to be in the position of highest authority, no more no less, and they usually make pretty undesirable leaders.
@@frankdees507Agreed! Certain coworkers I have can’t WAIT to tell people what to do just to feel important and in control. It’s even worse when they think they know what they’re talking about and end up making the problem worse
Two responsible men who love each other the most taking charge of things. Everything good with the True Western Society. Loyalty, respect, love, accountability and the unbreakable will to preserve your family and your business. The Manly Way.
Vito's cold thinking and strategic behavior, Sonny's ill-tempered character and agressive enforcing... and Michael's cruelty and family loving qualities. The perfect Don.
I have said this before: No, you don't have time. It's sad, but Michael is the cause of Mary's death. When he learned from Don Tomasino that Luchessi ordered the Atlantic City hit, which nearly killed him, and already suspicious of Altobello, civility was out the window. What he should have done was ordered Vincent to hit everyone or relinquished power and allowed Vincent to do it as the new Don. Me, I would have gotten the entire family into the villa, secured it, and ordered hits, taking everyone out who was remotely involved, just as Vincent did. Only by then it was too late.
Actually, you don't have time and, as I indicated somewhere else, it's actually Michael's lapse in judgement that caused it. When Don Tomasino told him that only Luchessi had the power to order that Atlantic City hit, which almost killed him, and he was already suspicious of Don Altobello, he should have thrown civility out of the window, gave the order to Vincent or turned control over to him, and hit all of them.
