Note to anyone just starting off with bikes don't keep the kickstart depressed as you will knack the return spring. Not telling this owner how to suck eggs but standing with your weight on the Kickstarter your can hear the spring tightening and whining..not good. Should have full choked and advanced timing IMO..
Gotta tell one on myself about an untucked shoelace loop... You haven't lived until one of them gets stuck over the end of your shifting lever, & can't put that foot down. ~DU69160
@A. Fox (Guitarman) It was not known as "The Beast" for nothing, mine once threw me over the handlebars back in 1964. Hammond really had no idea how to handle one properly.
My grandad left one of these along with 2 other rare bikes in the garage of his old house when he moved out, god knows why because they ran just fine (my dad used to use them without asking)
I love British bike's and own a few but these things are way over priced for what they are , anything V twin has a nasty price tag in todays market . Not worth the money .
