Dear Vincenzo, If you could truly and immediately know how your singing heart moves the hearts of strangers… But perhaps you do know, perhaps that’s what you’re aiming for when you enter with your weightless step into those limelit rings, rimmed with avid, haphazard energies, serene…; perhaps that’s the command you are inwardly giving your heart, the catalyst that ends up putting that light into your voice: Gli stranieri = gli amici… Perhaps that’s secretly the intention: strangers no more… No one remains a stranger to you after they get to really listen to your singing… The alchemic formula of the heart. These days most people hide their heart away or remorselessly murder it just to be able to go through the daily grind. You are putting yours out for multitudes to hear. Your larger-than-life heart expands and takes up all available space… in our hearts. A bit dangerous, I’m sure, but absolutely wonderful, for all those who, hearing you sing, can hear your singing heart! You are a paradox: lightweight and weighty, your heart pierces clouds of unknowing and unfeeling… you resurface from the depths of voluptuous anguish, or existential questioning, or rapturous joy with a child’s smile and a pirouette… and, as indeed is obvious, you delve into the past to make the PRESENT live… You treat your inner complexity with winning simplicity and prove music does not make the two mutually exclusive. A true artist forges a completely new dimension into art - into existence - and you are doing just that. I thank you for being alive now :) I confess I’m also glad that your heart is not a legend to many; some of us, few, need precisely that quasiintimate, ageless nature of your songs, instead of the hits of yet another superstar  Some of us out there direly need exactly what you are giving away, whether or not they are aware. I now am :) A vanishing/vanquishing species of stranger, friend, and artist NOW P.S.
