I’m always raving about Vindictus everywhere I go, from channels like this, to discussions about game dev stuff, or just hack and slash games in general. I’m so happy and proud that one of my most favorite games of all time has been revived in a new engine and caught in the spotlight! I’m so addicted to this little demo. Actually my first time playing Lann. Really hope they release Evie. I prefer female characters but Fiona’s moveset doesn’t click with me.

Gorgeous! Exactly how a Fantasy video game should look

Looks nice, but I really wish that in the final game 3 gameplay options would exist. First option - the classic gameplay is like in this video. Second option - the gameplay is different and got a stamina system that makes the own character and enemies move slower after a while. Third option - like the second option + blood, scars and injuries that makes you limping aslong you don't heal them (you can find scrolls or get get them at the cash shop).

You know this is a Fantasy planet that the gravity is unlike from our planet Earth.

This is my type of Action RPGs im Absolutely loving it!

I played the beta for original Vindictus. It was amazing then and remains one of my altime favorite games. I haven't played that in a while. Fiona is a great choice as she is almost indestructible with the shield and her kick is a massive attack. There were so many characters introduced that made so many choices available....hard to decide who do I play today? This is like starting over from scratch. I suspect that the development will be the same with this games as it was for the original. Slowly create the new character and perfect the very intricate animations and skills as well as the story of each new adventurer. Good on ya ,Lads!

Nice gameplay, i can play with just 1 hand 😊 And by the time i looked at that body i already knew this is a Korea/Japan game, only those country could make a beautiful body like this. Also Korea is considered as biggest mmo online games country, i've been playing tons of Korea online games since childhood

I hope... I REALLY HOPE they don't screw it up. But my expectations are very low... considering what they did with the first one.... Maaannn i was a big Fan from the normal Vindictus.

Looking Goooood, I probably want more ASSet too. althought it needs cut scenes explaining the lore/story and sure it needs much enemy types variety and a final move or action button to finish Bosses.

I just want to say, Rendermax, you are a motherfucking champ for sticking to Vindictus for as long as you have. I remember watching your character creation showoff videos like a decade ago. Wild. Suffice to say, I have a love/hate relationship with Vindi in general. I love the combat and characters and presentation, but Nexon is Nexon and therefore utterly untrustable, not to mention the enhancement system is incredibly unforgiving and unfun unless you're insanely lucky (I dislike Black Desert for similar reasons, which coincidentally also has a great combat system like Vindictus) I REALLY want to love and play these games but it's like...I just can't. It's too painful with the enhancing/lower playerbase/etc. But I appreciate you continuing to make content even after all these years, for a game that somewhere deep down in my heart, I still love...despite how terrible it is at its core.

The game does look incredible. But, what I would like to know is whether or not it has an interesting and engaging story; good voice acting; likeable, believable, relatable characters that feel alive, and not just a bunch of bouncy pixels on the screen. Is it actually a game or just a fancy sword fighting tech demo?

The question that must be answered after stellar blade was caught censoring multiple explicit outfits is will Vindictus remain as we see it now or will sony bend them over too.

Hard to tell from those 15min. But game now looks like BDO rather then Vindictus. In Mobinogi Vindictus environment & boss fights were much more interactive & fun. As I remember bosses in Vindictus had more phases which determined their look & behavior. For example at 2/3-1/2 HP they could go enraged & at 1/4 were damaged hard & weaken attacking chaotically as like they dieing. Not mentioning tonns of stuff you could pick up of the ground and throw into enemy's face knocking out or stunning him, using a ropes/chains to tie & hold boss... & etc. Smashing enemy against the wall with shield, or playing as Karok grabbing enemy's legs and crushing the rest of body into the wall. Also this dance in the end of level looks stupid, especially with that serious face. Only thing I see better now is graphics, but the rest of stuff is questionable. Even intro of old Vindictus where you saving girl was a bit more interesting as well as first few dungeon missions.

This is what im talking about, good graphics, gameplay and no censor shit.
