I feel like there are a lot of timeless elements to lethal company. Even without frequent updates the modding community is kinda popping off so I think either way there will probably be waves where people are really into it and then it becomes kinda blasé for a while

Probably a month or two longer, realistically. The game doesn't have any real goal, so it's a perfect game for streamers to fuck around and just chit chat while doing nothing in particular. In that sense though, the craze is already dying down somewhat because the game is hard (not always in good ways) and aside from yappy streamers making for hilarious deaths/wipes, it's only really appealing to loot goblins (of which I'm one). Just don't get too attached, every streamer-craze game always experiences a massive drop-off in popularity fairly quickly, but that doesn't make the game any less enjoyable if it's your cup of tea.

@@Blahblahblaafmnthere is a bit of cynicism I feel whenever a super fun multiplayer game like this gets picked up by streamers. Like when Ross mentioned he was in a competition for this game, and that some of them knew basically every little detail about what maps are best for what, that really annoyed me for some reason. When streamers start organizing tournaments for casual multiplayer games like this, or they start casually knowing how best to route things, that's how you know the game is on its last legs, since that usually means every last part of it has been figured out and it's only a matter of time before it gets dropped, and the casual non-streamer playerbase is sure to drop it soon after

I feel like befriending Ross made a positive impact on Vinny's life. Old Vinny would have never done big collaborations with people he doesn't know. He normally would have only kept to himself or his small circle of friends. Ever since he started doing these big collaborations with people he normally would have never interacted with before which all started with Ross inviting him to play VRChat with him and his group I feel like Vinny has been having a lot more fun.

For those confused about Ross's comments regarding the 'monkey selfie' I **heavily** recommend looking into the case yourself as it's absolutely hilarious. A photographer travelled to Indonesia and allowed a monkey to use his camera to take some selfies. These selfies were then used in several publications as well as published online. When they started to spread pretty quickly, both the photographer and the publisher both tried to claim the rights to the photograph with PETA then quickly stepping in and advocating that the rights should belong to the monkey who took the photos. The legal battle went on for 7 years.

More Lethal is always good, glad he got to be The Mask in one mission. Also poor Giwi dying a lot this session, and we got our shovel shodown even if everyone wanted to gang up on vinny, Ross was smart to hide and then ambush the survivor and sell off most of the corpses except vinnys. Pretty sure Jerma's stream was mostly 8 new people, this is only 6 and everyone has an idea of what to do and how to do it. This was a good stream, but I think 4 is best, 6 people fucks with the difficulty and how scary the game can get. 1 death is a bigger deal with just 4, not so much with 6. The monkey selfie was a court case where PETA fought for a monkey to have copyright over a selfie it took. PETA tried to sue the camera's owner for posting the image inline without the monkey's permission. It's as stupid as it sounds.

It was the owner of the camera (David Slater) who was angry that people were posting the image without HIS permission, and he claimed he "lost" 10 grand over it. PETA then argued that they should be put in charge of the money on behalf of the monkey, which was completely ridiculous. Ultimately, the ruling was that a monkey cannot hold a copyright, and that works created by monkeys can also not be copyrighted.

Vinny, Mike, Hacker, Limes, Giwi and Ross are like the best combination they all bounce off each other so well and are so nice to eachother but can still shovel shit at each other in a friendly way without it getting awkward. Genuinely some of the funnest stuff to watch on the internet bar none. I just love the entire friendly vibe.

I don't get the hate for frozen food. It's a convenience thing, being able to have food in your freezer. People don't necessarily get, say, frozen pizza because they like it more than their local New York Mom & Pop pizza joint, but because it's usually cheaper and lasts for more than 2 days. Same thing with canned food, it's not inherently worse, but it's not usually just about taste, there are other factors.

I think it’s Cus Jingle All The Way is very much a “fun-bad” movie that doesn’t take itself seriously and tries to make it as enjoyable as possible. It’s only a “bad” movie because it goes batshit insane with the plot. As a Christmas movie, it’s probably fairly high up there.

Obviously a bad movie is... A matter of perspective sometimes. Probably a bunch of things in combination, but they might still be enjoyable. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, or overgeneralizing, but I struggle to even think in a way that "any movie that is remotely or moderately ridiculous is automatically fun-bad". For curiosity's sake, for a Not-Christmas-but-Christmas movie, is Die Hard a "fun-bad" movie, a "bad" movie or just a "fun" movie following this logic? Why or why not? I am hoping to expand my understanding of perspectives.
