Talk of Extraction-types being the new trend made me realize something: When's the last time Vinny played a garlic-like? Is that "Survivor" genre still in its peak and Vinny just moved on or has it slowly died off? Also lol at the 10/10 delivery of "I don't have thoughts."
I think they should remake this instead of Silent Hill 2. Don't remake the classic that everyone already loves, remake the one with some interesting ideas but a flawed execution. Don't change Henry's blunted affect though, I like that about him.
I remember the very first trailer for this(2017). It's just a bunch of scenic shots, and says "From maker of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter"...then they pull out a gun. "And also Painkiller and Bulletstorm"
oh shit, i remember that trailer but had no idea what game it was for. legitimately amazing fakeout, making you think it was gonna be a walking simulator lol.
Chat during Mini & Max: Why are you playing this still Why not chat member? Unironically when he said that not UFO50, but specifically M&M might be coolest game he played this year it was truly heart warming.
Breaks my nogin thinkin' about what would happen if someone made Action 52 but acually put real effort into every game. For a fun time, look up how much A52 cost at launch. Disgusting right?!
Noticed the rooms in the dream world have higher ceilings. At first I thought it was different floors that had different heights, but room 302 is also different from the actual room.
I think it is not too far from SotN (as well Chronicles) to get re-released by M2/Konami in a year or two, as M2 already handled emulation of PS1 games in the past (MGS1 and G-Darius). And either Legends or GB Kid Dracula will be the "wild card" companion game to it (the latter still is a GB-exclusive game).
As much as I'd love that, the first of the modern collections already had SotN and Rondo, and unfortunately that was handled by Sony instead of M2 like Anniversary Collection onwards. We're more likely to get the 3D games first.
Been playing through all of the games in this collection myself, and while Dawn of Sorrow was the favorite of my three originally, on replays Portrait of Ruin comes out on top now.
The fact that this cheesy mess can be considered “the last good SH” game really demonstrates how hard the franchise fell lol. God do I pray for the SH2 remake to even be halfway decent at least.
Yes! I've been waiting to see you try Mini and Max. It's my favorite game of the collection. It has a cute art style and a fun premise. Also i didnt realize that the shinies were from Mini breaking that mirror.
Hello Vinny, the creator of Destiny here. I know we all like to think we're in control of our lives, despite the fact that everything is preordained. Though I hope that it won't discourage you from striving for a better future! Also happy Beetlejuice Rusty Cock Day!
Funny how all these aliems are only captured on old cameras, suddenly when we got new high definition technology, we see less of these "evident" videos and photos. It's almost as if it's easier to photoshop on older photos since less detail is needed.
What are you going on about? aside from weird instances of Jonathan saying Problemo (inconsistently) there aren't any changes? Unless you're a massive weeb then just play on the japanese setting.
@AnAverageGoblin They made some other changes to the dialogue too. They're largely corrections to translation errors and capitalization, but while they got the meaning more accurate there's inconsistencies plus some typos/formatting mistakes that weren't in the original. Already made a comparison for Dawn but... y'know, and working on Portrait and OoE next.
