Hi Leslie! I'm new here, sent from Kristen D. :) Oh wow that's good info to know about the creation date of AB. I think one of the biggest problems in resale is people not doing their research. They see someone else erroneously list things, and rather than do their own research to verify, they just go with it an perpetuate the lie. The misinformation is rarely intended to be harmful but it certainly can be to a collector. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

So many AB pieces are sold as 1940’s pieces but they are not that. They are later. The people selling them are most likely unaware of what it is… hopefully. There isn’t fake AB. But there can be earlier pieces where stones have been removed and newer stones have been put in… that would be something to be concerned about if the setting does look old. ❤️❤️
I think you have a niche here. People crave simple uncomplicated information on designers, companies, types of glass etc. The number of questions in the chat is numerous. Like very few people knew wht AB jewelry stood for. Or how old can Miriam Haskell jewelry be? Lots and lots of questions no one wants to take time to answer or maybe they don't know. Kat the Nurse Flipper does a take on the cost of stuff. A niche of information would be greatly sought after. Just keep it coming. Then we spread the news. Just keep it simple oh so many do not know how to pronounce things correctly. You could do this. Oh pictures of things good pictures.
