The fabric of Barbie Learns to Cook is one of my favorite of Barbie fabrics! I love the Barbie Learns to Cook! I have never seen Modern Art Barbie...(where have I been???!!!) What a gorgeous outfit!!! I had that platinum Stacey, oh I loved her, what a perfect outfit for her to model. The fleece coat draped over that outfit is the perfect finishing touch. I have never seen Country Music. I am loving seeing vintage outfits I have never seen before. No! Grow and Pretty hair is not ugly! I had this doll as well. The Francie outfit is so pretty. WOW live action Christy! Oh jeez her outfit is amazing, another one I haven't seen before! I love the purple! Oh I want that outfit!! The bead work is amazing on that outfit!!! I love love love Lemon Kiss!!!! Career Girl....CLASSIC!!! It is NOT boring at all!! Great pick!! One of my favorite outfits I got as a girl was Red Flare. I personally would have added that in some where as a 6th outfit. My uncle gave it to me when I was five, I remember it like it was yesterday, it looked amazing on my raven bubble hair Barbie. I love the random fact drops in your videos...I feel like in the doll community your channel is really unique... Love all the choices you made... I've never seen most of them... I feel like a lot of the 80-90s get way more attention so these picks are refreshing

I'm also one of the few collectors out there who love Sorority Meeting- It's just so quintessential early 60's - especially with that chemise-y sheath silhouette that Balenciaga and Givenchy were doing at the time... and in those sedate elegant browns! Yes, Peachy Fleecy is a classic... I remember seeing Doris Day in one of her movies with Rock Hudson where she was wearing EXACTLY the same coat! She had a long ochre coloured chiffon scarf over it that I must try someday. LOVE LOVE LOVE Rainbow Wraps, too! And Live Action Christie's original outfit. (And yes, Christie is the favourite of that gang!!! I'm so envious that you have FOUR! My gal was minty perfect in her original minty outfit that I got many years ago for a song, so I was very lucky with her!!!) And Career Girl IS a classic! - Based on Cristobal Balenciaga's famous semi-fitted tweed suit from the 50's. (My fave looks are 'Fab City' from 1969, 'Special Sparkle' from 1970, 'Extravaganza' from 1968, 'Magnificent Midi' from 1971, and vintage -wise, definitely the chic sexy BLACK looks come first for me: - 'Black Magic' and 'Solo in the Spotlight!')

I don't have enough vintage outfits to make a top 10. I guess my favorite vintage look I own is Ice Breaker. My top of the outfits I own are 1. Great Eras Flapper 2. Neptune Fantasy 3. Evening Flame 1991. 4. 2009 Holiday Barbie 5. Extra Fancy Pink dress. A recent one but one of Barbie's best outfits in a long time. It has been on various Looks dolls in my collection.

What a great video! I just loved seeing close-ups of your dolls. My sister and I (we're also identical twins) had a lot of clothes for our Barbies, but we stopped playing with them in early '64, so most of your outfits I had only seen photos of online. Your video made me wish we had kept on a bit longer - that "Barbie" print dress is just so cute. (Also as a twin, I'm not a bit surprised you both went for the same #1.) The first two outfits I got for my first (black ponytailed) Barbie in 1961 were Suburban Shopper and Open Road, and I'd pick Open Road for my #1, and probably Busy Gal for #2. I did have the Career Girl outfit, and also Sorority Meeting, so I got a big kick our of your including those outfits in your lineups. Thanks for such an enjoyable video!

I was born in 69 and grew up playing with the greats such as Superstar Barbie, Black Barbie, Hispanic Barbie, Golden Dreams Barbie and Pretty in Pink. Another super fun video! Love this concept and great picks (love hearing you both talk about your reasons for picking them too). My favourite out of these is definitely country music-it's so cute! The thought of doing a top 5 definitive Barbie outfits (if we include all of Barbie history) is way too daunting though haha I'd probably pick one of the astro fashions and that's as much as I'm willing to commit to 🤣

For me, TODAY, my top 5 looks are Julia in Pink Fantasy, Growin' Pretty Hair Barbie 1971 in Fab Fur, Beautiful Bride Barbie (mod, 1976) in Floating Gardens (she looks like frickin' Morgan Fairchild!), Malibu Barbie in her Marcia Brady dress w white knee socks (I have her some high heeled white clone Mary Jane type shoes that fit over the socks, chef's kiss), and titian flip hair Stacey in Magnificent Midi. Tomorrow the list will be different. :) You know... you could probably make a seasonal series of these... :)

3:27 For Years i had the rainbow wraps shawl so when i was able to get the dress i bought it -still don't have the underskirt but that is ok. 6:09 For Years i had the skirt from Country Music and Never thought i'd be able to have the whole outfit so, i almost put the skirt up for sale . then i found just the blouse for sale and bought it a few years ago . Last year i found the boots for sale and All i don't have is the exact white shawl but can use a Deluxe Quick Curl shawl if i have to . I just put the Country Music outfit pieces together a couple weeks ago as i am busy organizing my life and my collection. i can't have a top 5 favorite. my collection is too extreme . i have stuff from every era .
