The affair was several years ago at this point, though. It was during filming of the *first* movie, not this one - as far as we know. She had moved on to Dan Ackroyd and Paul Simon.
Carrie Fisher (Oct 21,1956 - Dec 27, 2016). I'll never be able to hear the name "Carrie" or "Fisher" without reflexively thinking of her for at least an instant.
"You'll have to ask Gary." Kind of shows how little George Lucas worked with the actors on Empire that she thinks of Gary Kurtz as the man in charge of the next movie.
I Think Dan Aykroyd Save Carrie Fisher As Princess Leia Young Girl She's My Darlin So Thank You So Very Very Much Dan Aykroyd Thanks For Saving Princess Leia Life Your Are Good Ghostbuster Guy
Love her mind. "King Fisher"! and "THE Paul Simon?!" "I don't call him that." She had that sense of the absurd on display all along. ( I apologize for repeating another person's comment. Forgive me.)
She was so pretty at that age. See what happens when you take illicit substances, too much partying and alcoholic beverages affect your system. It looks like she is stoned or on something.
+WordFactoryStation42 Remember she was undiagnosed bi-polar. That meant she was sometimes down in the dumps and sometimes high as a kite. People with that condition often self-medicate.
Thank you pinz2022 for sharing this. One reason I respect her is because of all she accomplished even with that awful mental illness. Think of all the mood states we humans experience - anger, irritability, elation, boredom, sadness. People with bipolar experience these states too, but with an intensity that is much greater than average people. It can be exhausting, thus, some will self-medicate.
Up to the end that interviewer was thinking he might have a chance with her, which is why he asked about her personal romantic life. But, I doubt she ever roleplayed as Slave Leia for Paul Simon or any guy, what a waste.
+Stonare She was, she admitted being high on the set even after how big the first movie was. Not so much stoned as high on coke you can tell by the way she moves her bottom jaw
Johnny Cage lol ok pal! you know it all don't ya! She never admitted to it on camera I just made that up...and I'm sure you know all the effects of drugs lol dumbass!
Finally--someone with compassion. Thank you evitreemonster for thinking about the human being rather than trashing a person who did little more than many non-celebrities do. There are many "regular" people who self-medicate because they do not get their emotional illnesses diagnosed for years. Many people are simply trying to find a way to survive life and celebrity makes that even harder.
