I remember many of these as someone who was born in 1985 and also as a fan of classic/antique cars though I prefer upmarket/luxury cars such as Cadillac Deville Lincoln Town car etc.
When I got my license in 1979 I got to drive a beautiful 73 Chevy Nova my mom had but never drove. Then while I was gone on a school trip she I traded it in on an ugly Brown Dodge Diplomat. Needless to say I was sick😂
@glennso47 that's weird. I watched a documentary about the making of Smokey and The Bandit and in the movie, they said that the Trans AM in the movie was the first one made. That they didn't hit the market for sale until the movie came out. They didn't mention a Firebird. 🤷♀️IDK
Most cars were square and "boxy" looking and even the Mustang lost its speedy shape back then. The seventies cars and years before were all much nicer.
