Vintage Circus Part 1 of 2 Junk Journal 

Oh, Norma! It was so nice to create in my craft room while you demonstrated your circus journal. I have watched so many of your tutorials but missed this one (probably the theme). I think I got to know you better today. You had a husband. Sorry about his death. When you spoke of crafting taking your mind off things, I related so much. I started making greeting cards first back late 2020. I did it to escape the constant worry over my furry soulmates. I had lost Missy and Yogi in 2018, then Starla in late 2019. Monkeydo was becoming more ill and ended up having exploratory surgery in 2020 (bile duct repair--congenital they guess). Post-surgery, he was never the same cat. I became his nurse around the clock, cleaning up after him and coaxing in the medications. In 2021, his sister got diabetes (which I have regulated with low carb food). Paper crafts were absorbing enough that I could stop worrying about what I could not fix, if just for a few hours. Monkeydo would come into my craft room if he needed me. So this hobby was a lifesaver for me. I had to let Monkeydo go last November, my final gift to him. Yes, this is an expensive hobby. I cringe when I purchase an ink cartridge. Last week's was $47! Everything has gone up in cost here in the US. Fun visiting with you this evening. Hugs.

And I almost forgot. I have picked up phrases from you that I use now. My favorites are "If I'm honest" and "this just slots here." I much prefer slots to sticks in here or goes in here. 😉😉

Hi Norma, I just found you :-), it was a RU-vid suggestion and I really liked your envelope and pockets projects!!

I like the theme of this journal but it's difficult to watch when it's upside down to the viewer. And the focus was out often. I don't know the fixes for those but otherwise this would have been a great tutorial with lots of great ideas. It's just hard to watch.
