Should have talked more about J. A. Bombardier, from Québecq, canada, who invented the first reliable snowmobile back in the days. A wonderful man with humanity in mind for the succes of all of us !

We forgot where we came from. When these were all that you had they were the stuff! Time passed people forgot about them but they still do a great job of getting you through the snow!

Had a sled like the second one back in the day. Artic Cat Panther 634 Hirth with the side pipes. Wasn't really fast, but it would pull a good jag of wood. Blew the belt and bent the crank.

We had an old actic cat panther that had a 12 horse Kohler motor in it. My dad straight piped it,sounded like a Harley at idle. It was slow but man would it pull!! Thing was a tank, and thats what we called it. Great times

My first snowmobile was an Arctic cat Pantera 440, I believe a 1974. Worked on it for 4hrs, ride for 2! Lol When it ran it run strong for what it was
