Vintage Collection Baylan Skoll? Star Wars Outlaws Figures in TVC? The Vintage Collection Pong Krell 

QFNW: growing up on the Original Trilogy I remember thinking that many of the designs used for characters in Jabba's Palace and the Skiff Battle were some of the greatest alien designs of all time. However, we barely got to see them in ROTJ. Now that these same alien designs are getting reused in modern media, for instance the Klaatus, Baradas, Niktos, and Weequays used throughout The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett shows, doesn't it seem even more frustrating that we will likely never see action figures of any of these new characters? I want the Green and Red Nikto thugs from the first episode of the Mandalorian and the Klatooinian Chieftan, as well as a few different variations of the Klatooinian Raiders, from the fourth episode. I'd even take a 4-pack of Klatooinian Butchers from the Book of Boba Fett. Am I the only one who is really annoyed and discouraged that this will likely never happen?

Pong Krell as a TVC deluxe release would be awesome, with 2 lightsabers, 2 hilts and an Umbaran Banshee from the Clone Wars. 3.75" 4life!!

Frog lady looks so good, and just reinforces how aliens fit perfectly into TVC (if only Hasbro made them)

QFNW: With the inclusion of the animated Droids and Ewoks and Holiday Special TVC figures in the last few years, do you think the Ewok television films could get a TVC figure at some point? I think a repaint variant of the upcoming Blurrg with a pack-in Ewok (or even better, Teek) would be a very fun "deep cut" convention exclusive.

On the Death Squad Commander/Imperial Navy Commander, I'd also love to get a new one of those on the original cardback. QFNW - would you want them to use the Imperial Officer tooling to deliver us a new one? I think all they'd need is a new belt for the belt boxes and new forearms for the long gloves, plus the head and helmet. It'd be nice to get Derek Torent, the guy in gray that Kenner made and Hasbro has never updated, him carded, and then a 4-pack of the guys in black.

If they do the Mandalorians 4 pack, I’d love to see at least the Male and Female Shriek-Hawk duo as they got a lot of screen time. Always liked their blue and green armor as well as the Kama the one wears. I agree the Judge could’ve been another member of the 4 pack and maybe just another random colored one.

Hey BB. QFNW: With all the rumors about the HasLab Mos Eisly Cantina, do you think Hasbro could release a new version of Luke's Landspeeder? Maybe release a carded version of farm boy Luke in mainline, and include certain accessories like the hat and the poncho for that figure with the Landspeeder?

Question for next week: The Ewoks character Kneesaa. Why would an Ewok, who presumably doesn't speak English, spell their name with a silent K and two aa's?

It's interesting about the release of a new HasLab before the Ghost has shipped. I happen to collect GI JOE Classified as well, and the same thing happened with that line. The current Dragonfly Helicopter campaign happened before they has shipped the HISS Tank. I thought the same thing - I'd rather have had my HISS tank in hand before backing another big vehicle. Ultimately, it didn't hurt their campaign at all - the Dragonfly still finished super strong. Maybe we just need to get on board with the luxury of getting a HasLab every year, while the actual production time of each can take 14 or 15 months.

Bossk's Bounty, Thanks for all the hard work that you put into your channel. You add so much to the TVC community & the videos are a joy to watch not to mention the livestreams are usually a lot of laughs, as well! QFNW: With the Blurrgs finally on their way, do you think the saddle/harness will be removable? For those who want to buy multiple it would be nice to have a saddle on the tame ones or have no saddle for some wild blurrgs. What are your thoughts?

Sundays are great for Ask Bossk’s Bounty episodes, great questions with good honest answers; QFNW are there any obscure characters from the original trilogy which would be quite easy for Hasbro to re-purpose / produce in TVC? I would suggest Bo Shek due to the similarities in his jump suit with rebel pilots and if the Cantina rumours ate true, then why not Hasbro?

Have wanted to create my on Pong Krell. Really would love one that's very posable.

The HasLab Sail Barge and Jabba’s Throne room have been well-supported with all-new figures such as Yakface, Klaatu, Boba Fett, Bib Fortuna and 8D8 and great partial tools like Vedain, Squid Head, Velken as well as numerous repacks/repaints. QFNW: If the next HasLab was a Cantina can you see a similar number of all-new figures or just some partially tooled Cantina aliens to support it? And how would you feel if versions of main heroes were offered as tier unlocks?

Thanks for answering my question. Your reasoning was sound, but I’m sorry that you missed out on the Saga snd Legacy years. Besides the vast numbers of figures and vehicles produced, they had exactly the right mix of main characters, troops builders, second tier characters and blink and you’ll miss them characters.

QFNW: When we finally do get Baylon Skoll (and hopefully Hati as well) in TVC, do you think Hasbro will actually give them their orange lights sabers, or will the cheap out and just give them generic red Sith sabers instead? If they go through the trouble of actually sculpting original hilts does it make that big a difference to color the blades appropriately? Thanks for all you do man, love your channel!

Howdy BB, great video as always! QFNW, what would be your ideal purpose for the deluxe release boxes? I strongly believe that named characters / new molds should be released on card first, then re-released in the deluxe packaging if there’s opportunity for added world building / accessory potential. I would love the deluxe format to shift towards “loose” focused collectors with loads of accessories (ie clones with backpacks / jetpacks, rebel troops and stormtroopers with extra blaster options)

I apologize if this has been answered already but a Transformer RU-vidr I watch has mentioned that when Hasbro makes a design a new character they want at least two uses out of that mold, either a repaint or a whole new character. Given how many times we seen various body types, Clone Troopers for example, how many uses tdo you imagine he Star Wars team plan on when they decide to do a new tooling?

Hi Bossk, QFNW: In order to help grow the line and to avoid confusion with other products (retro), so long as the cardbacks and numbering is maintained, do you think Hasbro should consider renaming/relaunching TVC under a new brand name, perhaps “Power of the Force (3)”? I’m not sure if “Vintage” communicates to consumers these are highly detailed, highly articulated figures. Thanks!

Hi BB, QFNW: with the roaring success and massive fan participation of Last Figure Standing and March Madness. Can you use your status as a community leader to float the idea of a fan poll for Most Requested Repacks? There are some incredible figures that Hasbro has released that are worth a lot on the secondary market. e.g. The Legacy Collection Comic Pack figures. And hard to get figures from the final waves (Malakili, Giran, Jacen Solo, etc.) The rules of Last Figure Standing specifically state for newly-tooled never before made figures. We need to send a message to Hasbro that there are some repacks and re-releases that will definitely fly off the pegs

QFNW. Do you think we will ever see an R2-D2 with the Death Star plans removable from a secret compartment?

Hey Tim! QFNW: I like to think logically about what helps figures to sell and the general best sellers from my perspective seem to be army builders or main vital main characters, were as smaller less action focused characters seem to struggle more such as with C3PO or background characters. My question is, do you think theres anything that they could do to make these figures more appealing? To me selling them with more accessories is the logical solution since it has more going on with it off the bat, but for characters like C3PO there obviously arent many accessories you could give him. Love the videos!

Shiny glossy C-3P0 appeared in more scenes throughout the entire saga other than the Yavin award ceremony.

i don't consider the main characters like luke ben chewie and han are cantina patrons, i consider the aliens are, like Hem Dazon, Muftak, the Tonnika Sisters, bat boy, Devil man, Hammerhead in his blue tank top, Greedo, and others

Q2 Do you think they will re-release many of the early 96 TVC as they are very difficult to find now. I imagine most won't be updated for the future except perhaps Tarkin? Cheers

Great video as always QFNW: yakface revealed the epic hero series n1 starfighter. It is said to be $35, granted it has basic sculpt and painting. But do you think hasbro can use this as an opportunity to get cheap vehicles or creatures that we can use for tvc?

Another great episode but this caused me pain! Back in late 2018 or early in 2019 when we had just lost our home and belongings including my Star Wars collection, I was thinking about figures and I was in target and I came across the Rey that is rare now I had it in my hands and did not buy! Never did find it again! With Victoria cantina explaining that target will no longer sell vintage collection figures will this affect you in any way? Is there a store in your neck of the woods that will stop selling them? I mostly buy my stuff from Amazon or hasbro pulse so I am not overly worried but I like picking up duplicates and options at target so how worried should we be on this news? Great review and some really good topics as far as peg warmers hasbro over production of a lot of figures that a lot of people don't want or like compared to the figures that everyone wants like when a case comes in they will only provide one figure to a case and more than one say Reva or Rey figures or even Asoka for that matter I still see Asoka on the pegs along with Reva just saying. Hasbro shot themselves in the foot because I never seen Darth Revan on shelves at Wal-Mart, target I had to order it from Game Stop because I know for a fact I'll never see them at Wal-Mart or target and because people didn't like a lot of the movies and shows that Disney did now they under produce the figures that will sell great I would love to to go into one of those stores and find everything I want but they just aren't getting to the stores about a month ago I went to a Wal-Mart and they had like 20 commander blitz and how long ago did that wave come out?? Distribution is horrible on someone's end Hasbro needs to do better and the other stores as well

Hi BB QFNW; Do you think that if the Haslab is the cantina on Tatooine, Hasbro would brand in The Mandalorian and give us characters like Pelli Motto and the insect guy she played cards with? I feel like since the Jabbas palace was Book of Bobba Fett version allowed them to use Disney extras on an iconic playset, they would do the same here. Droid server instead of Wuher would be the worst part but it could give us Mando characters we otherwise would not get.

While it seems likely that the new HasLab will be a Cantina playset... This is the 25th anniversary of 'The Phantom Menace', which will be in theaters again when the HasLab is announced. For conversation's sake, if the HasLab was from Episode I, what do you think it would be? What would you want it to be?

Wow so you didn't collect the original figures for the 77 and 80's films and started collecting when you were 18. The reason why I collect tvc as an adult is to feel the same buzz I did as a child when I saw the first ever characters as a 3.75" figure on the first ever card backs. These are part of my childhood and it feels like capturing a bit of it back buying a new tvc figure. I just couldn't imagine collecting them if I'd only started as an adult.
