Those Christmas tress in the 1950's were not like they are today, that's for sure. By the way, these are really good and very unique intermission ads. Glad you brought these to us.
The 70's were some really great times. I was born in 1967 so the 70's was my childhood. Going to Milwaukee County Stadium for Brewers games, Mini-Golfing at Willow's Golfing(Driving Range, Mini-Golfing, and Batting Cages), Go-Karting at the track near the 41-Twin Drive-in Theater, and the most iconic place, the 41-Twin Drive-in Theater! Hearing Mom or Dad say, ask, "How does the Drive-in sound tonight?" Yes was always the reply! There was nothing better than a night at the 41-Twin Drive-in or the 24-Outdoor🎥🎥Drive-in🎥Theater🎥🎥! For a kid, this was pure bliss. Packing the car. I can remember that squeaking noise that the Styrofoam cooler would make in back seat.🍺🍻Dad's🍺Beer🍻🍺, a couple of sodas for Mom and I, some snacks, a nice puffy blanket, a pillow or two, and maybe a toy or three. The movies were fun but every part of the experience was really special. The playground activities before the movies even started. Then the food! Ooh the food was sooo good! 🍔🍔Cheeseburgers🍔🍔& 🍟French🍟Fries🍟🍟, 🌭🌭Hotdogs🌭🌭, and other necessities...lol. Those were the days!!
Of the hundreds of these complications on RU-vid of movie.drive-in theater compilations, this is one of the best around. At 29:46, one of the better transfers of an early TONY'S PIZZA ad when they were selling to more directly early on to drive-in theaters; at 31:04, my favorite big screen movie/drive-in theater soda pop at from 1968 from Coca Cola in a solid transfer and at 100:38, the best copy I have ever seen of this Technicolor Sprite ad. Thank You!!!
