Behold! My vintage EVERGLEAM stainless aluminum 6-foot Christmas tree mounted on a vintage HOLLY TIME revolving tree stand, illuminated by a vintage PRISMA-LITE rotating color wheel. Decorated with custom hand-made ornaments created by BRAD STAFFORD of Oxford, Ohio. Music performed by Chamber League. Arranged and conducted (and electronically altered) by CLYDE YASUHARA. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I used twinkling lights on our metal tree in 1963. A great effect. It wasn't dangerous in the least. If you consider people using lights on metal gutters outside with rain, snow, and wind, which would be far riskier. Besides, real trees have caused many fires and deaths over the years, especially dried out trees. The color wheels always struck me as lame.
