Yes, They're filigrees. :) I really love Your style of journal making. You're one of the true artists in the journal community. You are not afraid to use Your imagination & express Yourself artistically. I love that You use real vintage elements & real sari fabrics. You don't just use the cheapest trims from Ali Express & why print all Your ephemera when You can have the real thing, right? I detest to see People printing sheet music & only using fakes. You have to mix it up, some printables & some real vintage. You strike such a good balance of the 2. Very tasteful & on point. Addicted to Your videos actually. I love crafting with You in the background lol

I totally agree with you about having a mix of both! That's kinda the point of it being a vintage junk journal right? That said, I guess sometimes it can be hard getting your hands on authentic ephemera pieces. It took me quite a while to discover my first ones and they can be pricey. But oh my goodness, if Malaysia had estate sales, I would definitely go broke. You guys are so lucky! :D

@@LunaRozuThat's why I love what You do so much. You have the balance of both. I have to agree too about getting real vintage.It can be very expensive for ephemera here. I try to shop for bargains & it took Me a while, to build up a selection of things. Tracie Fox sent Me a ton of tea cards & vintage post cards Months ago & She's finally convinced Me to stop hoarding them & use them in My journals. Do You ever have that problem, If someone sends You stuff You find it hard to let go? I'm terrible for that but I always put a few real bits in each journal. To balance the printables. So You're from Malaysia! I always tried to work out Your accent. Do You have thrift stores over there? I'm UK. Wales though. :) Sorry for how long this comment is. lol xx

YAYY! So glad you enjoyed it Lindsey! The kit was a joy to work with :) I was also thinking to bind them first too but I'm just afraid it would be hard to sew in any fabric embellishments after.

Oh so beautiful vintage floral JJ. Have you looked into pre 1920's postcards ~ some are copyrighted and some are not. I just wanted you to know that if they're no longer copyrighted you can keep re-using them thus keeping some to use over & over again. But you have to look into them first as some will remain copyrighted. It's like images etc (if they're before 1922 they're not copyrighted) but it pays to look it up as each country has their own rules etc. Hope this information helps you in some way and makes sense.

i never really understood the concept of junk journals. If its a journal made from kits and new stuff then to me, its not really a junk journal. This is beautiful btw, .. not to tak away from your beautiful work, I just dont get how something is called a junk journal, then its made from new kits etc is all. I absolutely love the post cards, .. in Australia you could never find anything so beautiful, and if you were lucky enough to do so, it would cost you your first born son.
