The best Hangar 9 Model ever built. I bought 2 of those models. I have it in electric ⚡️ and the other is for spare parts or incase I crash 💥. Knock on wood 🪵 it has been reliable for years besides replacing the CA Hinges on the control surfaces. Make sure you check those ca hinges. My started pulling away from the wing. I replaced them with Dubro plastic metal hinges. It’s been Rock Solid since🍷
Heya Stuart, I wants to use the laser engine for my Tucano, but no way to get the rank low enough. What a great warbird. Brilliant upgrade to nitro, sounds brilliant. Great flight buddy 👍🏻
It does fly better.... one thing I did change, the silicone exhaust extender came off on this flight, new one fitted now more securely, hence all the goo on the bottom of the model at the end of this video.
Absolutely wonderful job Stu, and great to see you back posting on the channel! I love these old warbirds, and I really like your approach to restoring these...just brilliant my friend! Keep 'em flying and I look forward to your next installment. Cheers brother and all the best to you 😎👍😁!
That engine and plane are a perfect combination. What a beautiful model and that engine note is spot on. I love how well it fits. P47 is a favourite of mine. Lovely job on restore. I have 2 laser engines and love them. I’m putting my 70 into a 1/5 scale DB Cub.
Beautiful flying P-47 and gorgeous engine. My Laser 100 is from 2016. Could you tell me please, the weight of the aircraft, the propeller you used and what fuel & glow plug are you using? I am using Optifuel 12% Nitro 18% synthetic oil and OS F plug, and a very wide blade Robbe 15x7 propeller.
I have a chance to buy this plane. A man is selling the bare airframe and wings with all servos attached and retracts but no engine. It is in mint condition and he is looking very little money for it. Would you recommend it?
