Every time I wear a hat I get compliments if it’s vintage even if my hair is not styled sometimes I just kind of take sections in bobby pin it in the big sick pin curl and then put the hat on and go you know what I mean sometimes you just wear the hat if you don’t have time to style your hair but you’re not gonna see your hair anyways so I say more people should wear hats many people complement you on your hat it’s just a fun conversation starter it’s great I can’t say enough about wearing hats was my last year‘s New Year’s resolution to wear more hats and my husband also wears all canes. Just in time! I'm always finding things my fianceé bought at estate sales before I moved in around our house. I found four yesterday hiding under a huge straw cap (the house is a treasure hunt) and had no idea how to wear cocktail hats!
6:28 I love your ideas on sewing the ribbon inside the hat and then having the ribbon coming down inside it looks like it’s supposed to be like that. And your other idea of sewing the elastic and then putting it in the back of your hair I have not tried that. I purchased a hat pin set on eBay many years ago was also a handpainted porcelain hat pin holder. They’re beautiful accents at the end of the hat pins and really keep your hat 👒 on!
