Speidel bracelets were very popular in the ‘60-70’s monogrammed with names or initials.. It’s a lock for an oriental jewelry box.. I have the lock and the box that has a jade ornament on top of it..

Hi! To agree with the already mention below comments, I had a Chinese jewellery box as a child with the same lock. Mine was purchased in Australia in the 90s. Cool to see it again!

The toolbox looking thing with birds engraved on it is an older style of Chinese padlock. A key goes in the opening and unlocks it by separating the lock into two pieces, as you have done.

Gosh I have a pair of reverse painted morpho butterfly earrings that belonged to my mum. I had no idea what they were till you mentioned them in the video. I learned something new! The ones I have are more of a west coast scene and I've always thought they were so pretty.

The clip at 28:06 is a dress clip. Fur clips have the long pointed prongs that pierce the fur. Need something sharp to go thru the hide. Shoe clips have very short little clips.

Spiedel makes watch bands, but they also make “ID” bracelets. They are still in business today and their website says since 1904. In cleaning an old jewelry box of mine, I found two Spiedel ID bracelets from the late 60’s or 70’s. One had my full first name engraved (Barbara) and the other had Barby-my teen and childhood nickname.
