Thank the Universe for the ladies who came before us with all their great taste in jewelry. I love to see old jewelry reborn and passed on. Thank you for an entertaining channel.

I love this video. Your voice & comments are lovely. The object with the "F" on it from Italy is definitely a seal to be used with sealing wax.

This was amazing!! What treasure and I can't wait to see the other boxes. Would it be rude to ask how much a box cost? I need to hit the nearby thrift stores!

It is a wax seal looks very similar to one I bought in 1989 for my friend’s wedding invites. Lots of czech glass in there a lot of art deco period too

Those Orange plastic Earrings at 47:33 look like something you'd see worn at an Andy Warhol party in the sixties. I'd hang on to those.

The bow pin holding the clear ball...does it have a mustard seed inside? It may be what's called a Mustard Seed Remembrancer, from the '50s.

Ohh I have since found a few other items with mustard seeds! I will have to take another look at that pin. Thank you!! ❤️❤️

The gold item that you don’t know what it is looks like a broken cuff link.

Hello! Wanted to let you know, those two bar pins that you had set aside in the jar lid. Those are vintage tie bar pins, used to keep mens ties and neckwear in place.

Thank you for the kind words! I started sharing on RU-vid because the people in my everyday life do not understand or care about jewelry like we do! They don’t get the jewelry jars either. 🙂 It is nice to find a community here with similar interests. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi, I have a couple of those small gold bar pins that were given to me by my former husband's grandmother. She told me they were gold and were used to close her boy's bibs back in the 20"s

Hi- thanks for watching and for the info!! How interesting- it sounds like they may have had multiple uses at the time. Love learning about these items.

That Lisner brooch had a broken stone to complete the flower. Very interesting video. Your nail polish while pretty is distracting. How much did you pay for the box?

Aren’t the tiny brooches for children?

That is possible! I had heard that they were for clothing fastenings.. but I certainly could be wrong. Thanks for watching!! ❤️

Thank you for sharing your awesome jewelry box. So many stunning pieces, and many early ones from the 20s and 30s. Small brooches were made in pairs to wear on each lapel of a blouse or jacket. My favorite was the large brooch with swags and cherubs. Would be gorgeous on a coat lapel or Levi jacket. Added: the small gold-covered brass pieces at 58:44 look like collar stays.

Thank you for watching and for the the great info!! I can imagine how lovely the set of bird brooches would look on the lapels of a blouse. I love the large cherub brooch as well- a really fun statement piece. ❤️

I just found you on RU-vid and I really am enjoying your videos, I think the clear plastic brooch looks like a treble clef in music. I love antique and vintage jewelry very much. Thank you for your videos. Would love to see your video on charm bracelets.

The lightweight white round earrings, are called Featherlite or Feather weight. The white clamper rose carved bracelet could be ivory, as it was used a lot in the carved rose jewelry in the late 60s into early 70s. It was banned in 1974. Look up identifying ivory jewelry. Two or more pins that look a like or go together, are called scatter pins. Lovely jewelry

In this video the very small brooches with the "c" shaped clasps are very old possibly Victorian as the "bar" pin was stylish then.
